I don't know where you get either of these from what Barr said.
In other words, high level Democrats get away with their crimes.
Barr said, it will be determined if any federal laws were broken and if there were those who broke the law be held to account.
This is not a good thing for the nation to have a two tiered justice system.
Bar criticized a two tiered justice system after strong words about the wrongs done to Trump and there would be a single standard for everybody. No more games! No criminal investigations to interfere with the election, no partisan nonsense! Further, he said when there is enough evidence justice will be applied with a standard beyond reasonable doubt it would be pursued then mentioned the Durham investigation and criminal investigations which did not at this time involve the former president and vice president.
Do you really want partisan justice systems being in the habit of going after former presidents in this country and using these criminal investigation narratives to sway elections? I don't. Those kinds of actions puts our elections in the hands of prosecuting attorneys' power according to who holds the reins at the time. I agree with Barr this needs to end.
I think if you read between the lines that the stage is being set that those in the deep state that did more than abuse power and broke the law and this can be proved are going to be held to account. The Dems are on notice - the games are over and there is a price to pay. As well as I agree there shouldn't be any tit for tat, this stuff needs to end. I look forward a statement being made by those who are held to account.
That's what I like about Barr, he is level headed and honorable.
