Wine comes from God but drunkenness from the devil!

Why does everyone need to know this?

Why not? All the Reformers believed that wine comes from God, but drunkenness from the devil. When the Pilgrims had thanksgiving for the first time they were open about their love for wine and brought plenty of it to the feast.

Good for the Reformers and the Pilgrims. I'm not sure who on Baptist Board really cares about that besides you. So again why is it so important to you to tell us all that you are drinking a Mikes?(I doubt you are being paid to do so) What are you looking for?

Perhaps they need to become monks.

Because they aren't praising you for your drink of choice? Even if you walked into a bar and yelled to the entire room that you were having a Mike's you would not receive praise for your drink choice. What are you looking for by proclaiming your drinking choices? Why are you looking for it?

I could see if somebody were to say they were a Christian, proclaim they drank alcohol because they believed in Christian liberty, then condescendingly said they enjoy a Macallan scotch now and again, but Mike's Hard Lemonade?

To inspire others to break the teetotalist lies and deceptions.
Telling everyone that you are drinking X drink is not going to do that. You can argue against teetotalism, (although you seem to be the only poster who cares one way or another about alcohol on this board) without announcing to everyone what you are drinking. That strategy actually is counterproductive to your stated goal. That also leads to the question why? We do not see Paul condemning (saying they lie and deceive) those who would not eat meat sacrificed to idols, in fact he goes to the other extreme to say he would not eat (drink) lest he sin against Christ.
Food will not commend us to God. We are no worse off if we do not eat, and no better off if we do. 9But take care that this right of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak. 10For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eatingc in an idol’s temple, will he not be encouraged,d if his conscience is weak, to eat food offered to idols? 11And so by your knowledge this weak person is destroyed, the brother for whom Christ died. 12Thus, sinning against your brotherse and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ. 13Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.
I Cor 8:8-13

So again I ask Why tell the us what you are drinking? What are you hoping to gain?
Why impose your liberty on other people. Paul makes it very clear that you are not better off eating (drinking) than those not eating (drinking).

John R. Rice as an interesting perspective on the subject.

When is a man drunk? When a man has drunk, he is drunk. Anybody who drinks beverage alcohol in any degree is somewhat affected by it, and so he is drunk to that degree. A man can get more drunk than he already is. He can drink until he is unconscious and can’t drink any more. A man can drink until a certain percentage of alcohol gets into the blood and stops the motor responses so that he quits breathing and dies. Now, that is a little more drunk than he was while he was breathing. Yet he is still drunk.

Evan, do you realize that there are probably alcoholics and former alcoholics who are reading this just looking for an excuse to drink?

If you are absolutely convinced that alcohol is okay, follow your conscience quietly. Don't proclaim it to others and tempt people who have a problem with it to sin.

I am becoming more convinced that you have a problem and are in denial. You defend it too much.

With my apologies to the Bard for the misquote, "Methinks thou dost protest too much." William Shakespeare, Hamlet, Act 3, Scene 2.

Wrong. I have no problems with alcohol.
