    Wow, great come back.

Probably, likely - you're just making up things.

It's not just his being deposed but his friends and family as well.

False dilemna - there are other possibilities, such as he made his point and to continue wouldn't be worth the return.

Now, why is Sherwood continuing his defamation suit, that Kerry and his campaign manager called him a "disgraced journalist" and "Bush hack?" I suspect that even when he loses, if it goes that far, the publicity for selling all his anti-Kerry propaganda would surely make the filings costs trivial.

Sherwood is willing to be deposed and wants the issue in a court of law. That's reason enough to continue the suit. It also shows that he didn't file just for harrassment purposes. He really believes he has a case.

We'll see if the judge dismisses the suit or allows it to go ahead. The depositions could be interesting.

Maybe, or maybe he loves the publicity and the revenue. Is he even paying the legal fees himself or is it all contributed funds?

He may not have just for harrassment as the publicity undoubtedly helps him sell his slime-Kerry books and DVDs. I don't think his pro-Moonie stuff is selling quite as well these days.

What, whether being called "Bush hack" by the Kerry camp is a grave insult or a big ole boost to his career? That should be rip-roaring....:sleeping_2:

Always other possibilities - but not letting out the truth is a bad possibility.

Who is not letting the truth out?

Perhaps you misunderstood. In the first case, carpro's comeback was, "I don't", an assertion with no arguement or explanation. In the second case, his arguements were admitted to be mere fantasies by his use of "probably" and "likely".

Sic, huh? You realize, of course, this means war - to quote a famous bunny. ;)

Kerry bought his way out of military service? That's an astonishing statement. Kerry went to Viet Nam. Our favorite president, GW Bush, on the other hand, leapfrogged over 100 on the waiting list to join the Air National Guard through his father's influence and then was AWOL for one year.

It's amazing how some people can twist history.

Prove that the evidence against Bush isn't true. I could claim that everything he says is a lie. That certainly was true about his reason for invading and occupying Iraq.

Cudos to Kerry for joining the Naval Reserve and spending four months in Vietnam.

He is still a traitor. The President is not.

Yes, it sure was. When a man was sent home early (6 months was a combat tour) and twisted the honor and integrity of those men around him, that is amazing.

But, what he told his daughter(s) was sick.

If I could meet Kerry face to face, I would spit in his eye and call him a traitor. UnChristian, I know. But the feelings run deep.

There are thousands of Vietnam veterans who feel as I do. Many of them are former POWs of the North Vietnamese. They were touched by his treason in a much more personal way than I.

Then, of course, there are the North Vietnamese, who honored him for his treason.

To my mind, Kerry is a traitor, and those are the facts.

And what he told Congress was evil.

As a former officer he testified of his own awareness of the war crimes:

Allowing a war crime to be committed is a war crime. He smeared the reputation of a whole generation of soldiers. And while I forgive Kerry & Fonda, what they did to a generation of soldiers was wrong.

And I understand and feel for those that cannot forget, much less forgive what he put them through.

    What treason?

    When?

    It's a "fact" that you think he's a traitor - ok, why?
When you say why, could you please support your allegations with evidence?

What did he say that was not true? The testimony I saw (C-Span) and read defended the soldiers while decrying the war.

I've posted it before. Of couse, you predictably rejected it.

If you really want me to, I'll post it again. Even though it was written a couple of years ago, the facts haven't changed.

Do you have a link to that post and rejection?

You weren't here yet a couple of years ago, according to your "join date".

Sure, post it again. You should also include whether you're using the term "traitor" loosely or precisely, if you would be so kind.
