Yes. I subscribe to the Washington Post and my local newspaper. I am going believe a well-researched story in the Washington Post or the New York Times or any number of historically credible newspapers, not something from Breritbart, Infowars, et al.

Well, the Washington Post and the NY Times were credible newspapers once upon a time, but they are becoming the leftist version of Breitbart and The New American.

OP: "Woman tells newspaper Roy Moore groped her when she was 14; other women make similar claims."

Ooooo! Ooooooo! I just read another one.

"Man tells newspaper aliens groped and probed him when he was 14; other men make similar claims."

I read it in the WaPo, uh, I mean The National Inquirer so it just has to be true!

When the facts are against you, then attack the source, eh? Apparently, you learned well from a self-professed sexual predator, Donald J. Trump.

<snip Romney tweet>

Mitt Romney: "I have read the one newspaper article on this matter and I believe the 38 years old recollections of a down and out thrice-divorced woman who didn't say a peep during decades as she watched the man be elected judge and become a national figure for morality and the 10 Commandments."

Careful about what? Have you not heard the Access Hollywood tape?

Yes, we heard the tapes. Very damning to Trump. His actual voice on a recording saying things that objectify women. Videotape even. I roundly condemned him.

Roy Moore? Nowhere near the level of evidence integrity.

Maybe we should wait and see if the allegations are true.

Just a suggestion.

Ridiculous. They have to be true. WAPO said so.

Establishment Rinos are already calling for him to drop out of the race. Accusations are enough. Who needs evidence?

What proof would satisfy you about Roy Moore? 4 women certainly meet the Biblical requirement for witnesses.

"In Washington, several senators suggested Moore should withdraw from the race. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., told reporters that "if these allegations are true, (Moore) must step aside."

Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala., echoed that. "If these allegations are true, there is no place for Roy Moore in the United States Senate,” he said in a statement."

Lies and fake news. Tell it when it happens, if it's true.

The other three "women" were 16 and 17 years of age at the time. Sixteen is the age of consent in Alabama. The other three said Moore did nothing beyond kissing them. So the other three are a witness to no crime, no foul. That leaves the Corfman woman, who is not a very credible person (in her own words.)

“For nearly 40-year-old allegations, the Post’s story was about as solid as it could be.

Within minutes, national Republican leadership was calling on Moore to step aside, if the allegations are true.

In Alabama, there was a decidedly different response — justification. Like a bunch of naive moms, Alabama’s brainwashed politicos came rushing to the defense of the guy with an R by his name.

It was a pathetic and infuriatingly stupid display of all-out ignorance. Led, of course, by State Auditor Jim Zeigler, who never misses an opportunity to insert himself into a controversy.”

We see how hard it is on women when they come forward nowadays(see Trump). Just think what it was like 30-40 years ago if a woman came forward, especially teenagers vs. a public official in the Deep South.

this one just seems off, they're going back over thirty years and it's not his first run for office. Strange how it all comes out right now, and he's been on the State Supreme Court all this time.

John McCain's "opinion" is worthless, he called for Moore to resign immediately whether this was true or not - this coming from a known adulterer. He probably helped plant this.
Wjen he was running for Governor and Supreme Court Judge, wouldn't they have come out then?

Let’s not lose sight of the fact that Roy Moore is asking for money and votes, not me or anyone else on this board. Attack me all you want, but it’s the GOP and its candidate that’s in trouble in the public eye.

No hes not
