I say that if God wanted women to be able to be pastors today then He would have called women to be prophets in the OT as well, and we all know that . . . .

IMO women have the most important job ever and that is to raise kids.
I was a Sunday School teacher for years, and was one of the best around. Few would discount me because of my gender. And we all know women are great Sunday School teachers.
I don't believe in cutting off fellowship but The Bible speaks that a pastor's job is for a man. And if the Bible says it then it is truth. If a church were to have a woman as a pastor I would say that that church is not following the Bible completly.Originally posted by go2church:
Have known some great ones in the past but not currently. Don't have a problem with it myself. It really is a local church matter as far as baptist churches go. If a church calls a pastor they feel is right for them and is a women, it wouldn't stop me in the least from fellowshiping with her and her church simply because she is a women.
Yes this is true, but She was not a pastor.Originally posted by GODzThunder:
Deborah was a Judge, a governmental leader more than a spiritual leader. You will notice that she was called because no man was willing to stand up for righteousness (the captain of the armies would not fight unless she held his hand in battle after all!)
