women priests excommunicated/thoughts?

Pope John Paul II has stated that the Church has no authority to ordain women.

According to Cardinal Ratzinger this statement concerns a matter of faith and morals. The Statement was made by John Paull II in his capacity of Pope and was made for the entire church. It thus meets the requirement of the infallibility doctrine. Therefore, there are no female priests in Catholicism. Those so called female priests were given the opportunity to renounce their illicit vows and submit to the authority of the church. Those who refused were excommunicated. The matter is closed. Peter has spoken through John Paul II..

Hogwash on the infallibility of the Pope and to the authority of the church(Catholic). What happened to the authority of God and His Word, the Bible and His church which is ALL Christian churches that follow bibical scripture without all the added humbug?

Considering that the church not only predates the New Testament Scriptures but that it also wrote the New Testament, preserved the New Testament throughout history, and divides the authentic New Testament from the apocryphal writings that have appeared in the New Testament canon throughout Christian history, I would have to say that your reference to "the Bible" demands the historical and Biblical doctrine of the "one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church".

Remember, Jesus appointed 12 men, taught them, and commissioned them. Nowhere, in any place, did Jesus command for anything to be written. The Bible belongs in the context of the Church in which it was born.

I'm glad that you respect this Catholic book enough to base your religion off of it, but it's still Catholic.

God bless,

Carson

All of what you say is quite true. But none of it applies to the Catholic Church. It wasn't even around at the time of the Apostles.

Carson: You sure have been brain washed! What about the United Apostolic Oneness church, they claim to be the first and only church? Now it can't be both, can it?
