Yes, you are tempting me just a little by appealing to my sense of pride to “defend my honor” against slander and false accusations. But I will pass. I am not sure if you believe what you say or if you are just being a bully. It does not matter. I forgave you then as I do now. And there is NOTHING that you can do about that.

John 13:34 is a commandment from Jesus telling us to love one another as He has loved us. 1 Peter 3:8-9 tells us that we must be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit; NOT RETURNING INSULT FOR INSULT but giving a blessing instead FOR WE ARE CALLED FOR THAT VERY PURPOSE THAT WE MIGHT INHERIT A BLESSING.

Those are just two reasons that I refuse to join you where you are. You can twist my words, you can insult me, you can slander me. Brother, you are not going to get the response you are seeking.

The answer is NO. I am a Christian and I will not entertain a “cage match” with another believer. Period.

Look elsewhere to feed your lust, if you must.

Somehow I knew this would never happen. Now you can make all these claims and everything else but if you're not willing to take a stand and prove your point then that tells me what I need to know. You continue to accuse me and slammed to me and then under the guise of loving and keeping the Commandments and being such a loving and forgiving person you avoid the opportunity to discuss it and seek out and provide truth.
Now I think I understand exactly why you do not want to do it. And it has nothing to do with those reasons that are being stated but again I'm not at Liberty to go into that at this time.
Now I'd be more than willing to go into that and I think you know that but again you can you can say what you want I can't force you to do what you do not want to do but I think I understand very well what it's about

There is no where to go. What you have said about me in the past is not true (except that I have in the past insulted you). But you made many false accusations against me and tried to slander me because you simply do not like me. That is fine. I have no reason to discuss that with you. Believe what you will about me, just keep it to yourself.

In the past you made assumption which put us at odds. From then on we traded insult for insult. I do not know the reason you decided hatred and insults were appropriate. But I forgave you and am no longer interested in returning to the place you now seem to be.

I do not hate you, as you hate me (at one time I did share your feelings). And I will not engage you as you desire to engage me. I love you in Christ as a brother and I pity you that you seem to be so ensnared. This is not the reason you were saved.

I don't know why Christ's commands are not enough for you to accept it is inappropriate for us to insult and slander one another. I really do not care what you believe the "real reason is". That has nothing to do with me.

Matthew 5:43-48 "You have heard that it was said, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? If you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

Matthew 24:42-51 "Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will. Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes. Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But if that evil slave says in his heart, 'My master is not coming for a long time,' and begins to beat his fellow slaves and eat and drink with drunkards; the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour which he does not know, and will cut him in pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

What will you be doing when our Master returns? Will you be found obedient or will you be beating his fellow slaves?

Matthew 25:31-46 "But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 'For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.' Then the righteous will answer Him, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? 'And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 'When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' The King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.' Then He will also say to those on His left, 'Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels; for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.' Then they themselves also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?' Then He will answer them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.' These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

It is impossible that you abuse, falsely accuse, slander, and insult another Christian without also doing it it Christ. We are but servants to Him. Before you decide to slander me, or request a "cage match" knowing I will refuse, please consider the passages I have posted here and previously. It is not a small thing to despise a command from God. It is not a small thing to accuse the brethern.

I would suggest you read the ninth commandment, before the sermon on the mount to get some context.
There are good commentaries available on it although you claim that you just need your Bible it doesn't look like you've come to an understanding of that commandment

The 9th Commandment is You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

I have never wrestled with that commandment (I have bore false witness against no one). My personal struggles have been with the tenth (with coveting what others may have). I have made great strides on this one. When I was younger I was different, more materialistic. And I struggle with pride. But none of that is your business. You do not know me.

That you believed I had an issue with bearing false witness is proof that you and I do not know one another. I do not know (or care) what you have assumed of me in the past, and I can assure you that if you thought I had lied about you then you were mistaking either what I said or my intent. Such is the dangers of online forums, I suppose. But it does not matter. You have called me a liar in the past and I forgave you. I forgive you now. It only proves that you are fighting windmills, making accusations of someone from your imagination. There are so many things you could accuse me of, why you chose to make up a fault and ascribe it to me is beyond reason.

To put your false accusations in perspective, you are speaking as if we have had personal interactions but we have not. You do not know me. So anything that you have to say about me, personally, is nothing but assumptions, and I can tell you they are false assumptions.

What I am saying is that you need to back away from this emotional involvement. You are arguing against your imagination and it is getting the best of you. The reason is that you are arguing against me personally and you do not even know me. You are fighting windmills, an image of me you have created in your mind.

Stick with doctrine, with the topic of the post, Iconoclast. Stop pushing an agenda to belittle me, to slander me, to falsely accuse me....what good is it for a man to gain the world and lose his soul?

The number of posts are well above what is necessary and the thread is well beyond recovery.

If there are points (legitimate doctrine, not talking about people) to be discussed then please feel free to start a new thread.

Do not feel free to attack or slander anyone. Do not feel free to ask me if you can start a thread so that you can slander someone. The answer is no.

I see no need to allow this foolishness to continue.
