Think I'm wrong? Just look at the most recent moves not only by China and Russia, but now by Japan. The dollar is going up in "smoke" world wide, and the same monetary system shared in the EU will soon be the same used here in this country.

The monetary system has to change, and America will be the final money system to fail and fall.

Of course, the money system and the socialized medical care being pushed by Obama and the Democrats has to happen in order to bring about the merging of Canada, Mexico and the USA.

I've said it before [no time table prediction made], this country has to merge with the nations of Mexico and Canada in order to bring about the Americas, which will be similar to the EU, and bring about the break between Israel and the US.

This is Biblical, and it has to come to be in order to usher in the days of anti-Christ, the one-world order, and the second-coming of Christ for the church!

I know not the time, which is in line with Scripture to not know such things. What I do know is the merger of the Americas is closer with each passing day.

Personally, I've never understood why Christians should be afraid of the End Times. I look forward to Christ's Second Coming. As far as the Bible is concerned, we cannot say anything about when it might occur.

I'm not afraid of the end times...in fact, I am excited, because it means getting out from under the growing evil that continues to extend its grip pf death on all that is around us.

I am not one who will give a date of when these things will happen. It appears that things are happening right now that brings us closer than ever before to the major changes in this nation and around the world. It could happen next week; next month; next year; or in the next generation. When it happens is appointed only by and of God. The only thing we as believers can say about the end of time is that like Jesus says, we are to look at the things He told us to look at. The birth pangs of the end times are being felt everywhere. For instance, Jesus told us there'd be earthquakes in "divers" places. Look at all the undersea earthquakes taking place, especially around the Pacific rim...

The signs of the times is nothing to fear, rather, it is something to give God praise for, because it means we'll all be rejoicing around the King's table real soon.:godisgood:

The US Dollar isn't going anywhere.

As a numismatist, I'll agree, the dollar will not go anywhere, because it will likely become a collectible piece of American history. Like the coins I hold in hand and collect from the old Roman Empire.

I'm not saying your head is in the sand, but, if think the dollar will hold up in the end, you may be thinking with your heart and not your mind.:tear:

The dollar has been falling for years. Twelve years ago the exchange rate was 40 Czech Krowns for one dollar. On my first trip to the Czech Republic in 2004 we received about 27 to 1. Last fall it was about 19 and 20 to 1. Today the rate is quoted at 17.4909. That is a terrific drop, meaning that everything for the US tourist is much more expensive.

When I was a kid the British Pound was the standard and it was replaced by the dollar. Very possibly the Euro will replace the dollar. It will not be the end of the world, but it probably will be painful for the US.

If I invested in the futures market I surely would not go long on the dollar at this point in time.

The IMF talking about "a basket of currencies" is evidence that the dollar is still the most trusted currency in the world. Well, right now that is the problem for China. They do have billions of US dollars, but as the dollar loses value, they are losing money fast and they know it. And the same with Middle Eastern countries, oil is paid for with US dollars and they are losing money too. They all want out.

I too believe the end is not far off. The anti-Christ will rule with finances, not military power.

So, I believe there will be one currency for the whole world. And it may not even be paper, the world is moving away from paper and coin currency. Pretty soon it will all be numbers in a computer. And perhaps now as we swipe our credit and debit cards to make a purchase, very soon we may just scan our hand or our eyes to make a purchase. Technology like this already exists. I know of a company where the employees simply place their thumb on a monitor to punch in and out right now. This technology in itself is not evil, in fact it is very efficient. You wouldn't be able to rob a bank or mug someone if cash didn't exist for instance. You wouldn't be able to hide money, so it would greater hinder organized crime.

But I believe the anti-Christ will control the monetary system. You can imagine how terrible it would be if you couldn't buy or sell without this mark. You would literally starve to death. You wouldn't be able to work. Perhaps your only chance at survival would be if someone with the mark secretly supported you. But even that wouldn't work, as soon I believe our very moves will be detected by monitors everywhere.

It's coming, and it isn't far off.

If China is smart they will convert their US Treasuries (soft assets) into hard assets like land and minerals, and other natural resources, which they are doing. They are buying square miles of Africa and the mid east.

but the important point is once the deal is made the the amount the US government will pay is fixed. So if the Japanese have a not for a billion dollars to be paid in 20 years and want to sell it now they will not get a billion dollars from a 3rd party now. The actual value of the billion dollars in 20 years depends upon the monetary inflation of the dollar in the next 20 years. The buyer will only pay the face amount less what he thinks the inflation will cost and less the interest he wants to net in 20 years.

So if Japan dumps a mess of US debt it will not change the amount that the US must pay in 20 years. What it will do is change the ratio of yen to dollars and the dollar will be worth less on the international market. If Japan dumps US dept the effect will be that the dollars they get for their Toyotas will be worth less in yen and it will be easier for Americans to sell stuff in Japan - change the balance of trade with Japan in our favor and make it more expensive for Americans to buy Japanese products which is fine with me.

The least messy way would be for Japan and China to quit buying new American debt. This would make American debt more expensive to the treasury but would help Americans who buy savings bonds or whatever. It would help people who loan money and hurt people who borrow money.

I have said all along that a North American Union is a political move, not Biblical. It does relate only to the EU, but even the EU is not a Biblical issue. :sleep: However, there is coming the day when there will be a one world monetary system. China, holds the vast paper of US dollars, and will force America into a system approved and ran like the current EU system. Than the far east will enter a similar monetary system as the EU and Amero, and we have a one world system of cash.

All one has to do is keep an eye on the world news [buried deep in the news, not front page stuff] and the economic news to see there are changes coming. I just hate to see those of you with your head buried deep in the sand to be caught off-guard. Know that major changes are just around the corner, it's just not known when we'll make that turn. However, not knowing when doesn't stop what is coming, because the hard fact is the world will have to change if it is to survive the recession.

You don't have a better answer, so you try to cast doubt by asking inane things, or simply misquoting me. I am not predicting a date, just predicting that changes are being made, and one day, those changes will be implemented.
