Would I Be a Good Fit for NOBTS as a Fundamentalist?

Steven,

Have you thought about a change in geography?

Dr. Bob is in Wyoming, expecting 200-plus inches of snow. That would be a change from Florida.

John of Japan is in Michigan, he can teach you classical Japanese. That would be another change from Florida.

Squire Robertson is someplace in California, maybe he can get you in the U.S. Navy. Still yet another change from Florida.

KathleenMarie has moved to another state.

Rev. Mitchell is ... someplace.

Going other than "down the road," might be where the Good Lord wants you finish your education--and start your career.

Time for my next cup of morning coffee.

Thank you. I am planning to pursue a PhD in DC or New England. I'm training to be a military analyst. I'm disabled, so I can't become a military officer. Truth is I am having migraine headaches that are being treated more and more over time here in Orlando. I couldn't move until they are well treated. I will look into seminaries since due to How colleges admit, I won't be up north till Fall 2022. In that interim I should finish my MDiv. Thanks for the ideas.

Steven,
What do you want to research for your PhD?

Do you want to write something?

I'm a published military analyst. I have 8 peer reviewed publications on military studies in just 3 years as a graduate student waiting to go for my PhD. I plan to get a PhD in national security studies or international relations. I am already planning multiple books to write. However, It will take almost 2 years before I could pursue a PhD, due to both COVID and the extremely long lead times on admissions. I would love to one day teach at Army War College or the other military academies.

I also want to be a bi-vocational minister as well.

Steven,
Several decades ago I lived in Dayton, Ohio--home of Wright Patterson Air Force Base. I went to church with several employees from the base. They were a nice group of people.

They're interesting. I haven't read the books, so I know the movies. I enjoy Clear and Present Danger, and Sum of All Fears is fantastic.
His novels are lengthy but intriguing. He's known for gleaning detail that appears to have breached security, at least at the time of publication. Don't know if that's hype to sell the books or for real.
