There is a legitimate concern about the culture that a child is raised in. It may not be a strong factor but it is something to be cosidered. To not do so is not looking out for the best interest of the child. It is plain selfishness on your part to not do so. It would be racist to say that this is a deal breaker but NOT to merely take it into consideration.Originally posted by gekko:

Good question there. I don't know in other States but here in Maryland, and in DC, I've seen a few black couples raising a white kid or two as their own, well-to-do Mercedes Benz driving black couples who genuinely love their white kids and did not have them only for the State stipends.Originally posted by Alcott:
