Would The Biblical Miracles Be Believed Today?

With so much skepticism and cynicism in the world today do you believe the biblical miracles would be believed today without irrefutable proof? I mean like, when a dead mans body touched the bones of Elisha and he was restored to life, or an axe head swimming in the water? With so much dishonesty and chicanery in the world, I tend to think not.

The majority of the world, including many Christians, will not acknowledge demon possession or demonic influence, when it can be seen all around us, and a growing portion of the world does not believe in the existance of God, even though everything in the creation attests to His prescence, so I strongly doubt it.

There is a man on youtube that does miracles right on camera, but I don't think people believe it much even with the proof. When Jesus did miracles some people saw it first hand and still did not believe.

If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Just what kind of "miracles" does this youtube man do? Have you seen a person with a missing arm or leg grow another one?

There are miracles that happen everyday ... but most people do not recognize them as miracles.

I agree with you. I sometimes think if Christ himself came down and performed a miracle in bodily form, we still wouldn't believe it.

Jesus did a lot of miracles, all of the in public, all undeniable.

The reaction from the political leaders?

They accused Jesus of doing the miracles by the power of Satan (even casting out demons).

They killed him.

Amen. Jesus performed many miracles, but the general reponse from the people was, "how long dost thou make us to doubt?"

I assume you meant "... all of theM in public..." But that's not true... the daughter of Jairus, the centurion's servant, the gentile woman's daughter; and calming the storm and walking on water was done only with his disciples there to see, which should not be considered the public's eye.

Miracles happen everyday. It is a miracle for ones heart to change and realize every human being is a Creation of God.

You can also say it is a miracle the sun rises everyday, and that is a true saying. Give thanks in everything. What I think were after here if I may, is the supernatural things that were done by Jesus and His followers, and the supernatural things that happen in our lives today. They should be the same as Jesus'.

It is certainly a fact that God can use anything He desires to accomplish His will supernatural or not. The closest I have seen is a person right on the brink of death with no medical hope recovering from many fervent prayers.
