Some find using the term "queer" as offensive and derogatory.

I do agree that we should NOT use the term "gay"

And I should care, WHY? I calls them as I sees them. Queers cant procreate......THEY ARE QUEER....at least they should own up to it.

All of the gays in our mobile park refer to themselves as "gay!" At least out here in lala land. But queer is like the "N" word to blacks. Sorry. :flower:

No its not.....I'm being both exact & descriptive. Would you prefer I call them Sodomites? I can even state that they are Queer Sodomites!

But why is it in the acronym for the whole of those who are practicing sinful sexual lifestyles? LGBQT.....whatever all of the letters are....

LGBQT stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer, and Transgender/Transsexual
Now when will they add polygamists.

... Queers cant procreate.....

Actually they can, but not with each other.

Okay, I answered no because she should have been able to see this coming from a mile away, which she did and tried to get the state to pass a law to protect her but even then she wasn't thinking far enough ahead but to have this person in jail in shackles is crazy.

But why is it in the acronym for the whole of those who are practicing sinful sexual lifestyles? LGBQT.....whatever all of the letters are....

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex, and asexual = LGBTQIA

whatever, alphabet soup

Huh?

List of dozens of decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court that have been abrogated, in whole or in part, by a subsequent constitutional amendment or Congressional statute.

List of dozens of decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court that have been overruled by a subsequent decision of the Court.

Thanks for the links you provided.

As I said in my post, my knowledge of actual complete constitutional amendments being reversed is quite limited to that of the 18th Amendment (the "Prohibition Amendment") that was ratified in 1919 was when the 22nd Amendment repealed the 18th Amendment in 1933.

Parts of some Amendments, as well as parts of the original Constitution, which took effect in March, 1789, have been changed, but as far as I know, the only time a complete Amendment was repealed was when the 18th Amendment was repealed by the 22nd Amendment.

If you know of any other Amendments to the US Constitution that were repealed in their entirety, please let me know so that I can make a note of it.

Here's what you actually posted:

about the only way I know of to reverse a Supreme Court decision is to actually amend our Constitution. To my limited knowledge, that's only been done once in our history when the Constitution was amended to once again allow the usage of alcoholic beverages to "adults."
