Would you hire a criminial as a security guard?

There was a case here a few years ago where a lady from Lafayette, IN, was working on duct work at night for a contractor making repairs at Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals in Indianapolis. She once had had a check bounce, which she made good, but Lilly did not want her on their property anymore, according to the newspapers.

It would be something else to have the fox guarding the henhouse. I don't know much about business but I do know better than that.

Apparent core values of big pharma companies seldom have anything to do with reality. Bayer still has problems with their history from WWII. Corruption has many facades.

Regarding: "go to pen or join the Army"-- this has worked for some. Others have wound up in the brig. People with an authority problem have trouble making adjustments to the military regimen. Some make it, some do not.
The military probably has a better rehab record than the chain gang.

Not really an original idea. FDR hired Joe Kennedy to reform the stock market.
