According to the founders and the people who established this country ~ man is endowed by his creator to be free, and not be compelled by others to participate in certain things.
However the conniving is to convince the people, someone else is willing to pay; partially for or totally for an enticing benefit. Once "they" are contributing ANY portion of what something "costs", "they" become privy to the "rule making authority" to which the benefactor becomes compelled to be subject to "the rules".
So for all WHO are willing to reap a benefit, they must comply with the rules.
I have zero interest in a government or employer dictating IF I am qualified, or entitled to "certain" benefits, or anything whatsoever to do with the care of my health, my living conditions, my food, my anything.
I enjoy my freedom to take care of and provide for myself in the manner I see fit.
