Wouldn't Fact Of Holy Spirit Being a "Down Deposit" "Prove" Eternal Security?

IF we have been given the gift ogf the Holy Spirit, as an "earnest down payment"...

Wouldn't that pretty much be a "proof" that we are eternally secured once in Christ?

Yes, Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Makes it real clear.
