The Trinity is the name of the explanation that the Preson God the Father, the Preson the Son of God and the Person the Holy Spitit are the one God.

What is not commonly understood is that God cannot not be a Trinity of Persons.
There are 3 Persons within the Godhead, its neither Modualism or Oneness!

now you are playing games! either we accept what the Bible Teaches, even if it goes against our own understanding and beliefs, or don't bother with the Bible!
Well one of us is playing games. Do you have another example where Yahweh is applied to someone else besides the 2d Person of the Trinity?

Its One God, so all 3 are "I AM"
Gee, I thought it was one God in three persons. We know in the New Testament, they have three names, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And we know the name the God in the OT is Yahweh. So the question was asked does Yahweh always refer to the Trinity, or can it be applied to a particular Person of the Trinity. The answer was both (i.e. it depends on context) and so I asked for an example where Yahweh applied to someone other than the 2d Person of the Trinity. One example was given where it applied to two Persons because two locations were suggested in the text. Now I have asked for another example.

there are many examples in the OT, where we read, "The Angel (Messenger) of the Lord". Here are TWO Persons, 1, is "The Angel", and 2, is The Lord, Yahweh, Who He is "distinct" from. Jesus Christ is "The Angel (Messenger) of the Lord", and "The Lord" here is God the Father. Clearly TWO DISTINCT PERSONS, and it is The Father, and NOT Jesus Christ, that is Yahweh.

Yes, the Angel of the Lord sometimes appears to be an angel, and yet in the same passage seems to switch to being God Himself. When the Angel of Lord is God, I believe He is the 2d Person of the Trinity.

well, if the Angel of the Lord, is also God, as you rightly say, then, there has to be another Person, Yahweh, as He is "of the Lord", which means that there are TWO Persons!
