I don't see the point of this payment since it is so small and so many people are out of work as the economy is already DOA. What is Congress trying to do?
Well, now they have upped it to $1250. That is moving in the right direction. It might be even larger before the final version is passed. People working in retail stores and in the hospitality industry are very hard hit through no fault of their own and they need help.
