The New Birth is actually equivalent to a Spiritual Resurrection from the dead, this is true, and in stating it again, it should be understood that the will of man does not contribute to it at all Jn 1:13

How can a birth be a resurrection? This corruptible flesh has no access to the spirit. Our spirit is literally with God. There is not a baby spirit birthed at our adoption into God's family. As long as our name is written in the Lamb's book of life, we have a spirit, just not any applicable use for us on earth.

Does no one see a son of God is the image of God on earth, body, soul, and spirit? The body is the image of Jesus the Word, the physical. The soul is the mind or software, cannot be seen or tangible, the image of the Holy Spirit. Yet the spirit is the image of God. What would be considered carnal as the opposite of divine. That is why the spirit part of the image is not even with us, but in God's presence. We have no control over what our spirit does. But we can control what happens to our spirit. A reprobate mind or soul turns a spirit into a demon. Demons are not part of created creation. Demons are spirits that cannot be redeemed. So being born again does not redeem a demon. It does not even birth a spirit. Being born again is allowing the Holy Spirit to work in us, showing we are adopted into God's family. We are not spiritually dead. We are spiritually blind. We are disconnected from our spirit so we cannot see the spiritual side of creation. What is dead is actually the physical part. Paul claims it is temporal and corruption. The soul needs to be resurrected into a permanent incorruptible physical body. That is the first resurrection.

Some claim Adam passed nothing down to us. That is exactly right. We got exactly nothing from Adam, because Adam literally lost everything. All we really got was a dead image, and a dead corruptible body. Literally nothing. To be a son of God though we did have to be physically born first. The first birth is as necessary to our existence as the second birth. The soul, body, and spirit still started at conception. None of us pre-existed as any part somewhere else. So technically all were "birthed" at the same time. So the second birth as an adoption is just a place holder. And from God's perspective all humans are sealed until the day of redemption. That is the first death. The only way to be unsealed is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit the reprobate state of mind that God places one in, that can never be reversed. Known as the unpardonable sin. Also the point one's spirit becomes a demon. That is the point of literal death of all parts of the image: body, soul, and spirit. That has happened to millions of humans since Adam.

The only way to start the process from our perspective is to be born again. No resurrection involved. Just quickened by the Holy Spirit, to produce life and the fruit of the spirit while still in these dead corruptible bodies. Let's not get too ahead of ourselves. Our spirit is seated in heavenly places. Once the soul enters the permanent incorruptible physical body, which is instantly for those born again, then we as soul and body will be seated in Paradise. The soul can no longer taste death as part of God's family, the need to be sealed by the Holy Spirit is gone. The first resurrection declares one immune from the second death. But glorification, the joining of the spirit to the soul and body, is at the Second Coming. That is the 5th Seal being opened.

Now again, this must be made clear, even though the Elect of God BY NATURE are not the children of the devil or of disobedience, nevertheless by nature they share the same type of nature, sinful, and as long as they merely remain in an unregenerate state in the flesh, we are remaining in satans power and kingdom, and cannot Hear, nor Understand God's words Jn 8:43

We by nature as the devil's children by nature cannot hear it when preached nor when its read, and True Faith is birthed by Hearing the Word of God Rom 10:17

Not only by nature we cannot hear the word of God, but neither do we understand it Again Jn 8:43

And understanding is needed to hear spiritually and bear fruit Matt 13:23

Hearing without understanding it is not the Hearing of Rom 10:17.

Also the Natural man by nature does not understand spiritual things of God Rom 3:11

I know many proud religionists like arminians and freewillers exempt themselves from the None here ! And they proudly claim that while they were in nature of the flesh, that they both sought after the True God and Understood Him !

But Rom 3:11 is by Paul here under Inspiration being applied to all men without exception Universally from age to age.

Listen, not one person under heaven, born of a woman, understands or seeks for the True Living God nor hears and understand His Word of Truth, and if we say otherwise, we are liars and the truth is not in us; Before any of us can Spiritually Hear God's Words, and begin to understand it, we must first be of God Jn 8:47

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

And We must be delivered out of the kingdom of satan, of which Paul gives thanks to God for here Col 1:12-13

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13 Who hath delivered [set free, rescued] us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Which is the result of the New Birth, and its when we are in the Kingdom of His Dear Son experientially by New Birth that we can Hear the Gospel of the Kingdom !

Its only men and women born of God into the Kingdom of His Dear Son, that shall be able to hear God's Words Jn 8:47, and hence its only they that can be those in this category Rom 10:17 ! Life from God must be before we can have the ability to hear, understand and believe, and that is why all for whom Christ died and redeemed, must be born again Jn 3:7

It appears you ignored all the Scriptures I shared & isolated one verse (John 8:43) OUT OF CONTEXT. That is prooftexting an isolated verse to maintain your pretext of a man-made doctrine. So when we look at the FULL CONTEXT of John chapter 8, we see that Jesus is speaking to spiritually dead people & they are all hearing His voice & the message He was preaching. They are asking questions among themselves & pondering on the meaning of what Jesus said. Scripture then states in vs. 30: "As He was saying these things, many believed in Him." Spiritually dead people, MANY in the crowd, upon hearing Jesus' teaching, believed in Him. Yet some didn't & continued to dispute with Jesus. The very isolated verse you picked out of context is instructive itself though. The word for speech (Gk 'lalia') is different than one for word (Gk 'logos'). The former word connotes the form, manner, and tone of utterance & the latter its inner substance & power. They were not conscious of any of the need he came to satisfy, and so they failed to apprehend the entire manner of his revelation.

Some spiritually dead people responded in belief because they were in need, to which Jesus said that if they continued to hear and abide His Word, the truth of those words would set them free & prove they are His disciples. However, some others choose to 'close their ears FROM HEARING.' Sometimes God hardens a heart, other times, a person hardens their heart. Some were able to endure it, pondering what had been said. Others were not able to bear the truth that they were lost. A person who does not believe they are lost & in need of saving, will eventually grow tired of hearing the gospel & become hardened. Some people being spiritually dead are like people in a dark room, who upon someone turning on the light, can then see & understand & bear fruit. Other spiritually dead people are in the same dark room & the light is turned on but they cannot see & respond. Why? Because their eyes are tightly shut, their hears are stopped by them & it is as if they are still in a darkened room.

Jesus taught this in the parable of the sower. The first three examples of the seed being sown of the Word of God resulted in no fruit & thus no salvation. But the last example was different.

Jesus again teaches in Luke 8:15 'And that in the good ground: These are they, who in a noble & good heart, having heard the word, do retain it & bear fruit in continuance.'

They are the ones that retain the word; they are noble like the spiritually dead Bereans of Acts 17:11, who examined the Scriptures daily, to see if these things were true. And as a result: vss 12,13 'many of them therefore believed, with not a few Greek women of high standing as well as men. But when the Jews from Thessalonica learned that the word of God was proclaimed by Paul at Berea also, they came there too, agitating & stirring up the crowds.' This remains a consistent pattern in Scripture when the gospel is preached to spiritually dead people.


They bore fruit IN CONTINUANCE, just like Jesus said to those who believed in Him, CONTINUE in My word & prove their faith is genuine & prove that those who trust in & abide In Him & His teaching BEAR FRUIT.

Now to be of God means to be made Spiritually alive to God, thats having been born of God or His Spirit. 1 Jn 4:6


We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

The circumcision of Christ ! Its been stated before that Christ, the Seed of Abraham Gal 3:16, does as His Type Abraham did, circumcises His Seed, but with a Spiritual Circumcision or New Birth. The sprinkling of the Blood here denotes Redemption, and Christ's Blood redeems those He died for, from a vain manner of life 1 Pet 1:18-19

19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

A vain manner of life is contrasted to a Holy Manner of Life as in 1 Pet 1:15

15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

Now in a unregenerate state, no matter how religious and moral we may have been, are lives are vain, unprofitable [Rom 3:12],our walk or manner of life before New Birth is stated here Eph 2:2-3

Now understand, lust of the flesh here does include being religious. Paul writes here 2 Tim 4:3

This is not talking about sexual lusts and all that, but religious lusts, false doctrines apostate from the Truth; But Christ's precious blood redeems those He died for from that vain manner of Life by New Birth. Lets go back to Vs 18 1 Pet 1:18

This is key here as to understanding the power of the Cross and Redemption, those Christ died for are redeemed FROM a vain manner of life. The word from is the greek preposition ek and it means:

His death/blood redeems them He died for out of,away from a vain manner of life !

The redemption delivers from evils of every kind, internal and external.

The Need of the New Birth before the Elect of God can Repent and Believe the Gospel, is because of what they are by nature, for by nature all men are without exception are 1000% percent totally depraved corrupt, wicked, or perverted, and that incurably so, and so are not capable of anything on a spiritual level good ! All of us are born totally dead in trespasses and sins, hence we walk according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit which now worketh in the children of disobedience. Eph 2:2

The word walked means i.to regulate one's life according to a course of the age. The word according to is strong here , it means motion and direction, after the manner of:

Hence by nature, all of us, elect and non elect alike, we are in the realm of satan's kingdom, which Paul mentions here Col 1:13

All by nature, that which is flesh Jn 3:6a is under the Power of darkness:

That word Power means:

The power of rule or government (the power of him whose will and commands must be submitted to by others and obeyed)

We are under in his Kingdom. Jesus said Matt 12:26

26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

We are all by nature under his Power of darkness Acts 26:18

18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

All the while we are in nature, we can do nothing spiritually good, but only comply to satans will Jn 8:44

Even though Jesus is speaking to the children of the devil here, nevertheless, those He came to redeem of the Children of God, do have the same nature by birth as they do, and by that nature, we do only the lusts of the devil , which is disobedience to God again Eph 2:2-3

This describes Spiritual death ! Which we are by nature, elect and non elect !

The lost soul is not said to "Quicken" itself.

Jesus was Virgin Born, Lived Perfectly, Gave His Life a Ransom FOR MANY, was Buried AND RAISED HIMSELF FROM THE DEAD, having Satisfied God's Justice.

The spiritually dead soul is said to be dead.

That spiritually dead soul is never said to "Quicken" itself.

God Does the Quickening to Eternal Life.

'You hath HE QUICKENED who were dead.'

Any 'belief", or "chose", or 'trust", or "having faith", IN Jesus BLOOD SACRIFICE, etc., takes place in the individual AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN BORN AGAIN, and their heart, that is deceitful and desperately wicked has been convicted by the Law of the Schoolmaster that they are without strength and ungodly, HAS BEEN CHANGED And REGENERATED FROM THE DEAD BY GOD.

Lost sinners are not Jesus and did not Accomplish His Eternal Plan of Salvation, to "Quicken" themselves to have Eternal Life, WITHOUT A PAYMENT OR AKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THEIR PERSONAL SIN DEBT.

You must bring forth fruit meet for repentance, showing that there has been an acknowledgement of their personal sin state and that REPENTANCE has been Granted and Given, at the same time that they Receive Faith, belief, trust, the Ability to Choose, etc.

There is no "easy Quickening", "decisional Quickening", "Freewillers Quickening", from the dead.

Either, "you must be born again" and " you hath He Quickened from the dead", or the lost soul stands before Jesus saying, "I made myself have The Eternal Life that Only Jesus Bought and Paid for, by Quickening myself, and know not that I am wicked, miserable, blind, and naked, because I saw a verse in The Bible about 'believe", "trust", "choose", "have faith", etc., BUT HAVE NEVER 'BEEN LOST" AND TAKEN MY PLACE AS HELPLESS AS A WORM AND THE ENEMY OF GOD AND MYSELF, VILE, UNDONE, AND IN NEED, NEED, NEED, OF A SAVIOR FROM MY PERSONAL QUILT OF SINNING AGAINST ALMIGHTY GOD.
