Berra, Yankees Hall of Fame Catcher With a One-of-a-Kind Wit, Dies at 90

Yogi Berra, one of baseball’s greatest catchers and characters, who as a player was a mainstay of 10 Yankee championship teams and as a manager led both the Yankees and Mets to the World Series — but who may be more widely known as an ungainly but lovable cultural figure, inspiring a cartoon character and issuing a seemingly limitless supply of unwittingly witty epigrams known as Yogi-isms — died on Tuesday. He was 90.

but he certainly had a way with words and even had a cartoon character named after him.
Which he did not get credit for. Hanna Barbara simply said it was a coincidence that their major character,Yogi Bear was similiar to Yogi Berra's name.

Yogi Berra sure came up with some memorable one-liner "Yogi - isms," didn't he!!

If you look up Yogi Berra in Wikipedia, you'll find some of his more classic "Yogi - isms."
