Except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. Psalms 127:1.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen-Hebrews 11:1.
I can quote verses too. Big deal.

"And David sat between the two gates: and the watchman went up to the roof over the gate unto the wall, and lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold a man running alone" (2 Sam. 18:24).

"Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight" (Ps. 144:1).

Jesus was His own security team. He used violence to drive the crooks out of His house: "12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, 13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves" (Matt. 21:12-13).

Can you not force the Catholick, world defintions into the word 'saint?' Saint is anyone that is saved, trusted Jesus' atonment for their sins. Corinthians were saints too..
