How can you deny that the Holy Ghost had already come when Scripture plainly says that it had. The Holy Ghost is a part of the Trinity. You do believe in the “Trinity” don’t you. The Holy Ghost had no beginning and no end.
Gal. 4:
28: Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
29: But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
Please explain, how that Isaac was born of the Spirit?
Hey Mark, stop already with the assertions anyone is denying that the Holy Ghost is not omnipresent or is not God which is always everywhere performing many task. That is just dumb!
This is about WHEN the Spirit performs regenerations, OK!
Now about Isaac, you could have a point, HOWEVER, i need to explore this further. Kings James translators adds the words [ that was born ]
Gal 4:29But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him [that was born] after the Spirit, even so [it is] now.
If they are just in doing so, my view has a problem and I will make the necessary adjustments. My only desire is to teach God's Word CORRECTLY. And if I am shown by scripture that what I have taken hold of is incorrect, then i must make changes and not ignore it or give excuses.
Someone please continue this topic starting a new thread because this one is way full and has been off topic anyways for quite awhile. I don't have time right now and must go. Not sure if I can get back on today.
If Gal 4:29 is indeed true of Isaac as stated by the translators, then this will open up a whole other can of worms for me to grasp an understanding on.
God Bless!
