Lets see - "Faith is the Substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" HEB 11:1

Sure when we post a Bible doctrine we normally add a verse or two as for the reasoning of our belief.

Thus it boils down to what we believe in Faith based on Scripture - NOT on man-made, non-Biblical writings. As well as the way we have interpretation of Scripture.

I have no problem discussing a difference of opinion with someone - but after three or four exchanges - with no change of heart on either side - there is no reason to continue. This does not necessarily mean "I won" - rather it becomes - "We need to agree to disagree" and that in itself is not a bad thing.

I am a Southern Baptist - yet I can disagree with other Southern Baptists
I can disagree with Baptists on some things
I can disagree with Protestants even if Baptists may or may not be Protestants.
I can agree with Roman Catholics on some things. So why would we waste time
on what we disagree so much - especially after a lengthy debate -

In the long run - should we as Baptists (remember - this is in the Baptist only section)
be more concerned about what we agree on than what we disagree?

For example: the end times - Pre-Trib vs Post Trib, vs Mid Trib, vs I-dont-know-trib
So we bring out our point of view - no one changes - we agree to disagree
than move out and concentrate on Matt 28:19-20.
