Your Actions Tell What You Are

Hello Hope.

What happens when a saved person stops believing?

That is not possible but if it was possible the condition for everlasting life has been met, I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life. John 6:47.

What happens when a saved person stops believing?

A lot of us sleep and eat with the pigs, being a Prodigal is not unusual amongst us.

HoG: Why do you assume it's an either/or situation?
Not assumption.
We're told that we are justified forever by his death on the cross.
Yes agree. When do we find this out, and who tells us about the Gentiles, and when?
We're also told that we need to justify ourselves by our works.
Who tells you this?
Contradiction in Scriptures, or are they for something different?
Does His Word say God hid something from the beginning?
Or do you just ignore one of the two?
Not ignore. Just point out the "Kingdom Church", and the "Body Church", each laid on the foundation of Jesus Christ. One foundation earthly given, and one heavenly given. I chose to build on the foundation laid down by a wise master builder, and this is on the foundation of Christ Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, seated next to His Father in heaven. The "Body Church" is of the heavenlies - Ephesians 1:3.

We know Hebrews is written to those justified by faith, and Ephesians is written to those justified through faith. What most fail to understand is Paul in Hebrews is exhorting the Jew (and proselytes) today to be of the "Body Church". The "Kingdom Church" of James is of works, by faith…"Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only", James 2:24.

James is not of "through faith", for the Jew is justified "by faith". He is of the "Kingdom Church". James and all the rest that are "by faith", at death will then be of "through faith", just as we are while we live.

It is interesting to note that Paul tells those saved into the "Kingdom Church" in those days while the Apostle's lived, those that "tasted of the Holy Ghost", to remain in that "Kingdom Church". But in Hebrews he exhorts the Jew to come out to the gospel of the "Body of Christ", leaving behind that which is "old", and is passing. Does God today recognize the Jew separate from the Gentile?Moses is of the "Kingdom Church", as is David, Peter, James, and the rest, and many proselytes.

I don't see where one foundation has two churches built upon it.

1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Eph. 1:
10: That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
11: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
12: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13: In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

I believe we are already brought together in One, both Jew and Gentile.

GAL 3:26 You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
