Each year my small group sponsors a chilli cook off at our church.
It is wildly successful and brings in a number of outsiders each year.
My wife’s chili has taken top honors for three times now, judged best chili twice and people’s choice once.

We call it “Vegetarian Chili con Carne”.

I’ve tried vegetarian chili before but it always seems to be missing something.

Well we’ve added the secret ingredient and the people love it!

We’ve even had vegetarians rave over it.

I have a funny feeling and will take a wild guess that that secret ingredient they are raving over is real meat!

Deac, that sounds like some chili I could really sink my teeth into. Amidst the many winners here, this one is the cat's meow. You've got me grinning like a Cheshire. :D:D:D This is worth serious prize money.

We now know their feelings about the birds. So that leaves the bees, the flowers, and the trees. Surely they will feel forced to scream “Rape!” even more loudly over these. Headline coming soon: “Get it while you can, before no more honey to be had.” Their birdbrain brilliance is astonishing.
Some years back a controversial timber harvest in Maine drew this social media comment: "Cutting a tree for profit is the moral equivalent of murder!"
And bees!! Those poor critters in their billions get hauled all over the country and condemned to slave labor pollinating farmers' crops.
