When my wife and I were searching for a new church to attend and serve in, we filled out the visitors card at each church we visited. We checked the box indicating we’d like a church representative to come to our home to explain the church.
We were Baptists, but we explored Baptist, Nazarene, Assembly of God, Methodist, Presbyterian, Apostolic, etc. churches.
I had a few questions to ask the church representatives.
I asked them how a person gets saved. I had my own belief about this, but wanted to get their ideas. One guy acted confused, uncertain, then said hesitantly, “Well…you have to have faith…” and that was his entire vague answer.
Then I asked them this question:
“Aside from dying on the cross for your sins, what do you like best about Jesus Christ?”
How would you reply to this inquiry?
