It is isn't just about Trump. During the 21st century, the presidency has grabbed more and more power, to the point now where the United States basically has rule by presidential executive order, and a Congress that is basically nowhere to be seen.

A lot of the blame goes to the two major political parties, which are now basically parliamentary-type parties, yet we have not set up a parliamentary system. Under the Constitution, the political parties are not supposed to just acquiesce to a president of their own party.

The framers of the Constitution warned against the dangers of political parties, but they failed to enact safeguards against them. They thought the three branches would always protect their turf against the other two branches, but we now see that idea has finally failed to hold.

...it's not serious, Salty, it's a joke, a meme. IMO, Trump has no designs to become a king, he's a strong leader trying to bring us back from the brink of Socialism and restore basic law and order, and loves, loves, loves, to troll the opposition (which I find hilarious).
