Zelenski calls for UN Reforms

I’m watching Zelenski in real time give a speech to the UN.

It went pretty fast, and he had a translator, but here is what he said as I remember. He called for reform in the UN security operations that would secure existing borders, hold countries accountable with international courts for war crimes and environmental activities.

I was stunned to hear him talk about “environment” activities in the same breath as describing war crimes.

He clearly is pushing for a bigger, more aggressive role for the UN to control world politics.

I literally had a shiver go down my spine as he claimed all countries must have an equal voice without regard for economic status.

His proposal is clearly a threat to US sovereignty.

What say you, did I hear it right?

Probably, but part of this is salesmanship right? He's making emotional pleas for help. Understandable.

Personally, the UN just needs to go away, it is a worthless organization. This whole debacle has proved that more than ever.

This sounds like an oxymoron.

The US will only remain sovereign if the UN is destroyed. The UN is about removing the sovereignty of all nations. I would tend to agree this is a cry for help, but not even for Ukraine to be a sovereign nation. Seems Putin forced Zalinky to step up and stop making threats. I am sure Putin thought it would be easier. Putin does not want Ukraine to be a sovereign nation either. Neither really have the best "deal" for Ukraine. Just different politics.

The Bible says that instead of the UN there will be another organization - "a company of many people". I think the headquarters of this organization will be in India. The Lord God himself will systematically destroy "a whale in the seas" (USA).

"Thus saith the Lord God; I will therefore spread out my net ouer thee, with a company of many people, and they shall bring thee vp in my net.
Then will I leaue thee vpon the land, I will cast thee forth vpon the open field, and will cause all the foules of the heauen to remaine vpon thee, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with thee." (Ezek.32:3-4)

"But I will put hookes in thy chawes, and I will cause the fish of thy riuers to sticke vnto thy scales, and I will bring thee vp out of the middest of thy riuers, and all the fish of thy riuers shall sticke vnto thy scales.

If you can’t, then you are speculating. Someone from Asia might claim China or North Korea is the whale. Someone in Africa may claim Nigeria is the whale.
