Sorry, I misunderstood you when you said,I dont
Why? Or are you accusing me of not serving the bretheren? Over the years, I’ve witnessed many insincere baptisms. In that case, I wouldn’t consider any ritual as legitimate and binding.

My comment was in response to your saying the following about me:What in the world? Me "claiming that we are not supposed to disciple people"???? What on earth made you think that? I am 100% in favor of biblical discipling. And a part of that is teaching the new convert what baptism is and why they should be baptized. I'll attach several photos of people I baptized in Japan, just so anyone who reads your post won't be fooled about me. In particular, U. San (the man with the graying hair) was a Yakuza gangster whose home I went to weekly for many, many months. For Mrs. Hayashizaki, I was so committed to baptizing her I built our own baptistry--in the kitchen of our tiny Japanese apartment.
If I go your direction, then apparently the soul winner wins someone to Christ, but then is not responsible to disciple them, teaching them about baptism and teaching them "all things" that Jesus had commanded.
What church do you go to? I know you mentioned availability of Baptist churches being a problem. I’m assuming that the statement in question is from the church. It would be helpful to know what kind of church they are, to know what they mean.Hello,
What is meaning of the response not in union with Christ if not baptized?
The Romans verse is about water baptism?
I am not at a Baptist church.
They refuse to let me do communion if I am not water baptized.
I am spiritually baptized into Christ and a Christian.

I am in China. What church do you go to? I know you mentioned availability of Baptist churches being a problem. I’m assuming that the statement in question is from the church. It would be helpful to know what kind of church they are, to know what they mean.
There are many rituals that human kind throughout the world adhere to. See attached for clarificationI am in China.
Its non-denomination.
They do sprinkle since there is no pool.
Though maybe influenced by missionary who started church.
Not Baptist.
Your Uncle Pat and the RCC are not relevant to the discussion.I care…that guy fed us and put a roof over our heads. He was forever helping both his family and his community. However I don’t care about being called a heathen and a publican, whatever a publican is….btw my uncle didn’t give a shite either. Masons serve many communities in both Pennsylvania & NJ. That pipsqueak priest must have lost allot of my uncle’s contributions to his homosexual church which was a path in the right direction. In the end, his mentoring of my mother gave my mom the courage to give permission to me and my brother to both join genuine Christian churches thus ending the Catholic legacy in our family. Thanks Uncle Pat!![]()
"These parts." The region where I live. Shoes and socks are changed regularly and walking is not the primary mode of transportation. No one here needs their feet washed. And it's not an ordinance. What parts are you referring to exactly?
I said you haven't formally entered into union with Christ and His church.Hello,
What is meaning of the response not in union with Christ if not baptized?
Yes.The Romans verse is about water baptism?
As well they should.I am not at a Baptist church.
They refuse to let me do communion if I am not water baptized.
That may be true, but in the observation of the ordinances, form and decorum counts.I am spiritually baptized into Christ and a Christian.

That's no Baptist church, the churches back home let people do communion without water baptism.I said you haven't formally entered into union with Christ and His church.

You haven't submitted to the initiatory rite. You haven't accepted the sign of your union. Therefore you haven't joined the church. No one is saying you aren't saved, but God will have order in His assemblies. The ordinances aren't a free-for-all, and we aren't free to be disorderly or indiscriminate in our observances of them.Explain formally entered.
It's eminently Baptist. I know all about open communion. Where it's practiced there is usually a warning that the ordinance is for those who are members in good standing of a church with like faith and practice, so it's on their conscience if they partake unworthily. That's no Baptist church, the churches back home let people do communion without water baptism.
Yes, but here no. Can't do it.It's eminently Baptist. I know all about open communion. Where it's practiced there is usually a warning that the ordinance is for those who are members in good standing of a church with like faith and practice, so it's on their conscience if they partake unworthily.
Why are you in China?Yes, but here no. Can't do it.
I am studying medicine. Better here then some woke liberal school in the west. Why are you in China?
Yes, wholesale Communism is to be preferred to it's mere influence here.I am studying medicine. Better here then some woke liberal school in the west.
I couldn't get into a university in Canada.Yes, wholesale Communism is to be preferred to it's mere influence here.
I'm sure the state-approved church you're attending is safer for you, too. You don't sound like a good candidate for baptism to me. But that's just me. Carry on.
You should have thought of that before hopping the first boat to Communist China.Where else do I go?
