CJ, those are great pictures, but if I am not mistaken the real
Blackbird Brother David may be referring to, in his "Displayed Name," is shown below.
Good morning
Dr. Bob,
CJ,
Sue,
Gib,
Dan, and
Diane! Hope you folks had a wonderful Christmas Day celebration. Here in the Big Apple we had a peaceful one, except these half-wits who tried to tarnish the Big Apple's reputation. One was hijacking a bus from the Port Authority Bus Terminal. He was picked up at Kennedy Airport two hours later. The other one was a pilot who took his father and kids over the Statue of Liberty, and other restricted NYC areas. His excuse was, "I am sorry!" When the nation has an orange alert, and NYC even a higher one, people listen to radios, reads it in the papers, and spoon fed daily through the TV, you can actually believe that somebody did not know (especially a licensed pilot) that there are restricted areas? Common, give me a break! And this fellow will not be charged..... The Police must be pretty magnanimous for the latter part of 2003.
But otherwise we had a wonderful celebration with the family. Our youngest grandson, Micah, was jumping from one gift to another and opened the papers only. He thought that that was it! He did not look at the gift itself, he was satisfied with opening the shiny wrapping papers, ribbons, and bows. When we asked him to open the boxes themselves, and he actually found out what was inside, he would say,
WOW!, while his two older siblings (Tori and Noah) would roll on the floor from laughter.
