Gracious Scarlett! I didn't realize you'd been so very ill! Glad you're getting better tho. I had a stomach thing 2 years ago this March and ended up in the ER with low electrolytes too but didn't have other problems afterwards. I lost SO much weight that I looked horrible! Then I gained it back and an extra 5 pounds.

Sue didn't call the doctor. Just a nurse on duty on the weekends....

Well, I am very late today! I've been "under the weather" today. Running a low grade fever, but that's not good for someone with my health challenges. I might have to go to the doctor myself on Monday whether I want to or not. I had cancelled my appointment for Tuesday and rescheduled for March 29th when Viv goes.

My Mom is leaving Augusta, GA tomorrow morning, I believe, and catching a flight back to Peoria, Illinois. Please pray for a safe flight.

Sue, don't put off going to the doctor. It's definitely not worth it, especially since you're "older"...

LOL
Seriously, though, we wouldn't want you to be so ill you couldn't post. Then we'd have to try and draft Dr. Bob...LOL ;)

Tony, I'm sorry to hear you're not better! Do be careful and get to the doctor as soon as you can. I don't have any health issues so I can fight things off pretty well (other than ear problems) but I worry about y'all when you try to 'get better' for weeks without getting checked out!

Sue, promise us you'll head to the doctor Monday if you're not MUCH better! No more pneumonia, please!

Rains moving in and my hands sure ache. I was ironing and ran out of starch so gave it up for the night. Everyone has clothes ironed for tomorrow tho and I have Extended Session with the 4 year olds. Tried to find someone home to recruit to help me. Jim's running the second sound board. Pastor wants to have good quality recordings so we can move into video taping and radio ready sound. Jim's the only guy at church with the training for that.
He'll be up above the balcony and sure can't help watch 20 four year olds. Sounds like a plot to me! I'll make sure they give him a double dose during Sunday School.

Thanks all:

I do feel better today, but if I don't feel REAL good by Monday, I promise, I will go to the doctor. I don't want this to drag on any longer.

I pray everyone else is feeling much better by Monday too! This has not been a good winter - healthwise.

Brent just went to bed with a headache. He sounds a little hoarse too and I know strep throat is going around, so I'm going to keep a close eye on him. He took a five-hour nap today. He never takes a nap at all...

I'm going to put the inserts together for tomorrows papers so I will just have to put the inserts into the papers and bag them in the morning. Then I'm heading to bed.

Pleasant dreams all!

Thanks for all your prayers and I will pray for all of you tonight.

(You sound just like all the other doctors I know! )

Good morning all:

I had a good night's sleep and I believe I'm feeling better - we shall see as the day progresses.

I put the papers together and bagged them. Hubby is going to deliver them for me this morning.

It is right at the freezing mark and we are supposed to have heavy rain later today with a high of 42. YUCK! I hope it stops raining before I have to work in the morning...

Cruising,

Morning Sue and Dr. Bob! Glad to hear you're feeling a little better Sue. I sure hope Brent isn't getting strep. So many around here have had it lately.

I had such strange dreams! Something about coloring pages and then I think I was trying to hide from a bad person.... ???

My decongestant has opened up my sinuses and things are colorless now so that's good. I'm sneezing like crazy this morning.

Howdy - hope all you sicklin's are getting back to the land of the living. All in my family (except for me!)have had it this past week. If I can hold off til Tuesday without being sick, I'll be getting my new "teeth"!! (Veneers). I am very excited, and thankful to my mother who is giving me this as a gift.

We have had a great Sunday so far. I felt worship wasactually worship today! At least for me it was.

Well, see yall around a little later on!

This was my rotation in extended session so I was with the 4 year olds from 9:30 until about 12:30. It seemed MUCH longer but my best friend helped me and one of our teens came in also. We had 20 children during second service and only 5 of them spilled their apple juice! We couldn't go out on the playground because of the rain so we played some games toward the end of the day.

No discipleship classes for our kids this afternoon. Two teachers are out of town for weddings and one had surgery. We'll be ending this 'class' for the summer pretty soon with another type class starting up.
I get some time off!

Boy Howdy and lovely spring evening from the banana belt of Wyoming. 42F, sun setting over the red buttes to the west. Just got the pix from our trip.

Services were sparse this morning. One family of 6 on vacation in Orlando, a couple with the flu and a family that has visited two weeks in a row had a sick kid. Still had 13 and all went to lunch at a local Mezcan place that has free eats on Sunday for kids. WHAT A ZOO!

But enjoyable time, great singing and so-so preaching (I'm the teaching elder, so that means ME). Trust all enjoyed a great Lord's Day with your church family.

Glad you families who are sick stayed in Dr. Bob. A small county in Georgia had 11 people die of the flu since Tuesday! We have a few from our church in the hospital with flu or virus type things that got out of control.

Sue...... set that clock and call the doctor first thing a.m.

Tony..... haven't seen you online! Sure hope you and Viv are okay!

Gib and Roger have been naughty and have to stand in the corner for picking each other's noses.

Yuck!

I wish ALL sick families would stay home!!! We got sick from a church kid last week, and a whole family of 5 sick people came today!!

Tonight, I kept the nursery, and had five 3-4 year olds. It was great. We blew bubbles, played with play dough and played a Noah and the Ark game.

Oh I do too, Tater! One mom told me they stayed out of S/S and came late to church because the son she brought ME had thrown up all night and they wanted to make sure he was 'over it'. Thankfully, he seemed fine!

I'm going to bed and when I awake, I hope this was just all a bad dream. Kleenex! Anyone got a Kleenex?

Diane,
Good Grief!!!! What's up with that?????

Dan, A few Krystal burgers and some bean burritos ought to do the job! They'd sure taste much better, too!
