I don't know any woman pastors and don't want to since they're not biblical.
Argh, you beat me to it! That is exactly what I was going to say. :tongue3:
I went to a Methodist service a few years ago and the "pastor" was a woman. I did not like it at all. It felt wrong. I never went back.
 Well, I guess women pastors are good for something. I like free mugs.:tongue3:I know we'll not be going back - although the mug we got is pretty nice (it's one of only two mugs we have on the boat since we're so careful about things that can break but I like my tea in a real mug so I took it LOL).
What do you all think about Ann Graham Lotz? I wouldn't call her a pastor but she certainly sounds like a preacher when she's in front of a group.
"Have found an approach to God through the life and teachings of Jesus."
"The life and teachings of Christ are not what Christianity is based on, and believing in such has never saved anyone."
"Recognize the faithfulness of other people who have other names for the way to God's realm, and acknowledge that their ways are true for them, as our ways are true for us."
"Find more grace in the search for understanding than we do in dogmatic certainty - more value in questioning than in absolutes."
"The life & teachings of Christ mean nothing without his substitutionary death & resurrection. You can preach the teachings & life of Christ yer whole life, nobody will be saved. Salvation is in the blood, and there is nary a reference to such on the whole of the CPC statement of faith."
"Have found an approach to God through the life and teachings of Jesus."
Not sure if this is what you meant but I will comment on it and you can expound if want. She's an evangelist.
Preaching can be giving the gospel and done by anyone, and/or it can be done by a pastor. Lotz is not a pastor -she does not pastor a church.

Uh- is this a good place to note that both 'pastor' and 'evangelist' are spiritual gifts and not offices? Not sure if this is what you meant but I will comment on it and you can expound if want.
Evangelizing is not the same thing as the office of the Evangelist/being an Evangelist and should never be confused as being one and the same.

Well, I was just pointing out that she is an evangelist, not a pastor.
