I am in prep mode today to get scoped from both ends tomorrow. My prayer request is this:

    1. That all my "prep" work is complete prior to getting on that table

    2. That my "prep" seat is sufficient to do the job

    3. That my "prep" work does not scare my children

    4. That my "prep" work does not later require the burning down of the bathroom

I know I can count on your effective prayers regarding this matter. God Bless

    You got it.

I just hope the scopes don't get tagled up with each other when they meet in the middle. ;)

My husband was scoped from both ends a couple of months ago. The good part was that the drugs they gave him to knock him out made him reaaaaaaally happy all day long.

I have been scoped many times from both ends and never had much discomfort.

Pastor, you will be in my prayers.

Praying for you this morning, Rev, that everything will go well during your proceedure.

Don't worry, the "prep" part is the worst. Once it's behind you (no pun intended) it's ok after that.

Glad to hear that everything came out alright

That "good feeling" that many people experence after the sedation is from the same stuff that killed Michael Jackson - Depravan or propafol.

    Abuse is called 'Power napping'.
The drug leaves you in a slightly euphoric state afterwards.
I felt it myself after my 'scopes'.

It's a common drug in operating rooms.

Glad all went well. I've been putting mine off for about 6 months now. I don't like the idea of drinking that stuff, I really don't like the idea of what's involved in the procedure, and I really really don't like the idea of being drugged; I'm thinking about inquiring about doing it without the drugs. What do you think? It makes me cringe to think about it...
