    I would NOT attempt this one without the drugs. I know someone who tried that and strongly regretted it!

    You have my sympathies, Rev, as someone who's had this procedure done more than once. You definitely need the drugs for the 'top' end and need be in dashing distance of the latrines for the prep for the other end. "If you ever feel like the bottom is falling out of your world, take Picolax and have the world fall out of your bottom"!
