    WELCOME ONE AND ALL

The only "RULE" here is NO fussin' - NO fightin' - NO feudin'!

I will try to be here to serve you; but if not, feel free to help yourself.

First one in every morning puts the coffee and tea on, last one out at night turns the lights off...

We serve donuts, cinnamon toast (dry toast available upon request), crumpets, bagels, scones, croissants, brioche rolls, donuts, yogurt, salads, light lunches, popsicles, ice cream, homemade cookies, homemade cakes, homemade pies, and homemade jams.

We also serve coffee (with/without caffeine), hot chocolate, hot tea, iced tea, fresh squeezed lemonade and orange juice, cappuccino, Mountain Dew, DP, DDP, Coke, Coke Zero, Pepsi, Sprite, milk, milkshakes, Kool-Aid, and Carb Options.

If you don't see your drink or food of choice...just ask, we will do our best to stock it for you!

Our aim is to please...come and sit a spell, enjoy the fellowship and come back often!

As Christians, we are ALL on common ground...

Hey Sue!! I was wondering where you were!! How are you feeling? Is your health doing OK?

Well, I'm typing from a library while on a little "vacation" for hubby and I. We have 2 days away staying at a friend's motel in Montauk, NY but it's all icky and raining so we decided to waste a little time at the library online. :) Housekeeping came to clean the room so we had to scoot. It's nice to be away for a few days, I have to say.

One funny thing hubby and I figured out - we're polar opposites on so many "likes and dislikes". He likes boats, I really don't. He likes the water, I like the mountains. I like animals, he has NO clue what to even do with them and he's quite uncomfortable around them. I like the cold, he likes the heat. I like to spend vacation doing nothing but sitting around and trying to be bored. He prefers to go exploring all the time and do stuff. Hmmm - how ever have we stayed married for 25 years?? LOL

When we travel, mary and I have different interests, so we took separate holidays. I toured England and Wales, preaching in different churches. Mary liked to visit things and places, then spending some time with family.

It is nice to get away and just be alone though.

Nice to see you again, Sue. Bless.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Hey hey now!! I was just sleeping a little later today. Hubby woke up very early and made SO much noise so I had broken sleep this morning. I think it's going to be a few-cup-of-tea-day for me.

Now Salty! I know you can be sweet! Albeit, not often, but you know how. Mostly at potlucks.

My fine feathered friend, you never were a regular. You spent all of your time in that greasy old Pit Stop! :tongue3:

If you be nice and come back, I'll even make sure we stock your favorite snacks and we already have plenty of sweet tea!

Blackbird - I've never heard of anyone doing that in modern times!! How cool!

Well, today is back to the grind. My husband's and my time away for a few days was lovely but it's now back to reality. He is off at church for a morning of staff meetings and I'm up, showered, dressed and ready for the day. We have homeschooling to get done and then I need to run to church to start putting together a funeral service for a woman in the deaf ministry who died of cancer. After that, I have my little one in ballet then it's home, get them dinner, drop the littles off at church for their club programs and then hubby and I will use the rest of our minimum at the yacht club for dinner. Tonight is pasta night so I need to figure out what I'm going to have made. They put out all the ingredients for pretty much most any pasta you could want and you just pick out and they put it all together. What should I get??? Hmmm.....

Mmm. I'd LOVE to have some homemade sorgurm.

The kids are quietly doing their homeschool and I'm debating what to make for dinner tonight. It's church night, so I'm trying to decide between something quick and easy (and light) or something warm and filling now that there is a distinct autumn nip in the air.

Mmm, sorgrums! Brings back memories from when I was a kid. The FreeWill Baptist children's home that was next door to the little school I went to, used to take all their kids off to the "sugar cane" feilds one weekend every fall. They'd come home with enough raw sugar cane to give the whole school a sugar high! LOL, I loved that stuff!

    Good Morning Everyone.

It is exchange day here (you know, when you exchange your paycheck for your power bill?) and then I have to go buy car tags for my daughter's "new" car and then gets its oil changed. Sometime I need to run to the grocery and to Walmart(bleck), and then there is homeschooling, carpets that need cleaning and supper to cook!

Yep, normal day here. ya'll have a good one!

Today would be SUCH a perfect day if I didn't have to go to church to work. A woman in our deaf ministry passed away and her memorial service is today so I need to get the computer stuff set up and a slide show done. But fortunately, hubby will be coming home in a few so that I can go up alone and hopefully only need about 2 hours to get it done.

Other than church, I have nothing to do today outside the house. I love days at home and with the remains of Tropical Storm Nicole raging outside, it would be so much better just to stay hunkered down. I have a pot roast in the crockpot and the kids are homeschooling. Both the big girls are out at school although the 18 year old will be home just after lunch. Hubby will be working on his message for this week so it's just a quiet day in our home. :)
