Oh, this childish game. I see this all the time from the atheists on another forum I post on.

As you know, he isn't disputing the idea of Christians worshipping God. He's disputing the idea of worship in an Unbiblical manner.

But then, you already knew that.

Actually, I have seen it. It was extremely popular when I was in the WoF cult.

There's a world of difference between "fearing" something that's unfamiliar and comparing something to scripture and finding it to be Unbiblical.

First of all, where does the Bible say that the Holy Spirit works through Unbiblical means?

Second, I think you have good reason to be afraid.

Yeah, imagine a pastor being against dancing girls wearing skintight and revealing clothes in church! What is the world coming to?

    [Personal attack edited]

I don't think anybody's suggesting that women wear strip down to their underwear in church. [personal attack edited]

    Yeah, [edit]

I only have one thing to say and it is from the scriptures. Take it ever how you want.

(1Co 14:40) Let all things be done decently and in order.

JDF, I've yet to listen to it.

    I will say though that

    1. Responding by comparing me with an atheist, suggesting Annsni might have women stripping to their underwear in church, and stating that our worship is unbiblical (when if anything, scripture supports it) doesn't encourage me to entertain your viewpoint of Christianity a bit.

    2. Why should I listen to you or trust your statements about scripture when you jump to such absurd accusations and lude commentaries? Please give me a reason why this should set you apart as a person in my life that is capable of good judgment and advice...and if you're not on this thread to try to help, what ARE you here to do?

I'm just finishing out the end of Genesis. I'd say that God worked quite well through "unbiblical" means.

Actually not. I hate foolishness and the foolishness of this pastor was actually embarrassing.

Now, as for that "skintight and revealing clothing"? Let's see what my daughters wear:

regular undergarments (I hope this is OK - sounds like it might not be from that "pastor")
    long white camisole
    white stockings
    white pantaloons
white blouse that is long enough to never get pulled out of the waistband of the skirt
long white skirt that reaches the floor that is made as a full circle so it's quite ....large
    white ballet slippers
a belt that will coordinate with the theme if we have a special event

I was telling my girls about that pastor and his comments last night and they laughed. They are more covered up than even the elderly ladies who are all about modesty!! Of course *gasp* their forearms are uncovered and we know all good Christian girls don't show their forearms but that is actually taken care of with the addition of the body suit that they wear under the outfits now!! So here's a picture of my very immodest daughter when she was about 16. Click on the photo to see a larger picture.

Here's a very short video of both this same daughter and my other daughter (behind our senior pastor) to see the entire immodest and skin tight costume:

Amen. I totally agree with this. This is why the ministry that is run with these girls is very careful. It is not done in a willy-nilly way but well practiced, carefully choreographed and done only during certain times of the year. :)

Honestly? I don't really care. If you won't listen to God's Word, then I know you're not going to listen to me.

And yet, you have dancing girls in your church [edited]

Why don't you ask Aaron to explain the regulative principle of worship to you.

Please notice that I am not attacking your daughters the way you and another poster attacked my children (and, for the record, the other poster did apologize).

Seriously? You know the motivation for us to have our DOZ girls? You must be a psychic or something!! But just to let you know - you're wrong.

Is Aaron my pastor? Is he the Bible? No? Then I'll not ask him.

Oh for heaven's sake!! What an accusation!! Prove it. [edit]

So you say, but you're the one who has to have dancing girls in your church

    [Personal attack edited]

I say you're better off with Aaron, as your pastor doesn't appear to be doing a very good job.

Actually, it's already been proven. Like I said, the other poster already apologized for it.

Why so insulting? Are you approaching this in a godly fashion and treating me as if I were your sister? I think not.

That is your opinion and you have a right to it - even if it is seriously wrong.

So you can't show proof. I knew it. False accusation noted.

    Oh, the irony!

I disagree. Your pastor is allowing this Unbiblical nonsense in your church. [personal attack edited]

So you are saying I'm not saved?

You made an accusation - support it. Prove to everyone here that I am lying and being childish. Prove to everyone here that I insulted your children. You've pushed this all along and I've yet to see where I did anything of the sort. False witness??

Just wanted to repost this so he can't remove where he is blantantly saying that I am not a Christian. Not even questioning my salvation but outright saying that I am not saved.

I'm seriously speechless with your behavior. Completely stunned. I've never seen such a rude man - no less a "pastor". [personal attack edited]
