Which Is The Word of God?

The Word of God IS the Revelation of God!

Jesus is the Revelation of God in bodily form! If you want to know what God is like in a human Body, then Christ is the perfect Word of God or Revelation of God in the body. However, you had to be living when he lived to know God by this revelation.

The Bible is the Revelation of God in written form! If you want to know God as one not living in his presence, then the Bible is the perfect revelation of God and His will in written form.

Can anything other than the Spirit of truth guide you into ALL truth?

A. Yes

B. No

C. I do not know

D. I will not answer because it will prove that what I believe is not accurate.

Let me make a slight correction. I am here to prove your doctrine wrong or prove your doctrine right. If the Lord be willing. Wouldn't you want to know if you are deceived? I would.

None of the above! First there is no human being that can know "ALL truth" because that would make him God.

Second, I imagine you are referring to the promise of the Spirit in John 14-16 which was given to the Apostles? This referred to their work of fulfilling the Biblical canon of scriptures as predicted by Isaiah 8:16-18,20 and confirmed by Christ (Jn. 17:17-21) and acknowledged by them (1 Jn. 4:5-6; 2 Pet. 3:16-17; 2 Thes. 2:15; Rev. 1:3; 22:18-20; etc.). Its fulfillment is found in the completion of the scriptures - Isa. 8:20; 2 Tim. 3:16-17.

Third, only the Holy Spirit can reveal truth to a person but He chooses to do so through ordained means (1 Pet. 2:2; Jn. 17:17; Eph. 5:25-27; 6:17; Mt.28:20;etc.).

Fourth, only decievers use subtility and guile in dealing with God's Word:

2 Cor. 4:1 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

The Word of God is clearly Jesus Christ, as it is stated in terms that cannot be understood, unless of course, it agrees with a preferred doctrine.

Well, preferred doctrine aside, how about just stating the doctrine you disagree with. Then, it can be known what all the subterfuge is about.

The answer in short is no, of course not.

Now, why is it that the Spirit of truth performs this ministry, and when did He begin?

or every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

The deceivers are not going to come to the Light. If you want to avoid them go to the Light and stay there.

. The Spirit of truth is not a human being, it is a Spirit.

Correction: He is Spirit.

And He is God.

No I am referring to the Spirit of truth.

And how you refer to Him indicates perhaps you view Him as a force, rather than God. Is that incorrect on part.

Who ordain what he does?

God. Though, He being God, serves in this ministry willingly, even as the Son willingly served in His ministry.

I will not encounter any in the Light. But thanks for the warning anyway

It was to the way you presented the question that he refers to. This is why one person already decided not to participate.

And if you do not know the difference between Light and darkness...then you are in a bad situation.

In John, light and darkness take on a consistent theme.

Was there something you wished to convey about this?

Are you trying to bait me?

I don't know, is one baiting if they recognize baiting?

You might have me there.

I see patience is not your strong point.

Well, if you give it a little time, you might see this differently.

And speaking of time, mine is almost gone. Is there something that you wish to present, or deny, or relate?

Have you always been this overbearing?

Have you always been this overbearing?

Well, yes, actually I have.

Do you think maybe I should work on that?

Maybe I could be better at it if I do this?

Or perhaps, that it not be misunderstood that I am angry and I intend to ride roughshod over people I could use red and bold...for emphasis?

I don't know...let me know.
