Stericycle Controversy: Mitt Romney Invested In Medical-Waste Firm That Disposed Of A

So now that your entire OP has been discredited because Stericycle did not begin contracting with abortion clinics until three years after Bain Capital sold their interest...

You decide to go off topic and want to talk about how much Bain Capital profited on their investment?

Either your debating skills are non-existent...

Or you have less than a tangential understanding of truth and honesty.

Several of Crabtownboy's have been discredited of late. His quotes are unreferenced or are disingenuous. By quoting the Huffington Post or Mother Jones he is obviously relying on false or misleading information. Does that bother CTB? Apparently not because he continues to do so.

CTB is a rabid supporter of the abortionist in chief but takes umbrage that someone must clean up what the abortuaries do. He can not justify his unChristian behavior so he slimes Obomination's opponent.

Crabtown boy has lain down with dogs and got up with fleas. Apparently they are biting. Perhaps he is being chastened!

Honst question- Are you for abortion? If so, shame on you. If not, you have no place lecturing about contradictions, because you certainly seem pro Obama.

Add to that: If you are pro abortion and claim to be a follower of Christ, you have no right to lecture about contradictions.

The only thing I can say, and this is just an example, not to derail your thread, but when Steve Jobs "stepped down" because of his health reasons, he was still officially still the CEO of Apple on paper....just because someone's name is still listed as CEO doesn't necessarily mean they are active participants.

Anyway, the facts are, the medical waste for abortions didn't come about until well after Romney was gone, according to the link I posted.

How often is a person listed as the CEO when they are not being active in the company? I've never heard of this in any other company. Why would they keep his name listed as the CEO on SEC documents if he was not the CEO?

If Romney was not running the company at that time, who was?

You are ignoring the fact that Bain sold the company three years before Stericycle contracted with abortion clinics.

Your whole OP premise is a lie.

Crabtownboy- The little green logged in light by your name is on, so while you are here care to respond to this?

No, I do not approve of abortion. However, there is nothing I can do about it. So, I have to look at other issues in making decisions about political candidates. I do not see the world in a one-issue light.

For instance I do not agree with the House Republicans who want/wanted to cut funding to Meals-On-Wheels and let elderly who cannot prepare food for themselves starve.

The topic is aborted fetus waste.

What is the difference between an aborted fetus and other medical waste ?

Is meals-on-wheels on par with abortion? Do you consider abortion sin? If so, how do you justify support for someone who has shown to have such a steadfast pro-abortion record?

Is allowing the elderly who are unable to take care of themselves to starve, or to die from a weakened condition through malnutrition acceptable? Are they of less importance?

Meals on Wheels in our area is run by volunteers. You can't even get MOW in a lot of places.

From the Internet, Council on Aging re: MOW:

Only 45% of our annual budget is provided by State and Federal funding

The rest is provided from charitable donations.

Everyone I have known connected with Meals on Wheels has been a volunteer. I do not know about paid staff.

It was funding for food that Republican representatives cut.

The Republican-led House approved a plan for deep spending cuts in food stamps, Meals on Wheels and other domestic programs — while sparing the Pentagon — in a vote that showcased the party's election-year priorities.

Cutting funding to feed our elderly while not cutting funds to kill people seems a very callous un-Christian action. I assume it was pure politics as they knew the cuts would never pass the Senate. If that is true it is simply another example of Republicans wasting taxpayer money.

Remember, if you are young then you are the elderly of the future. Treat the elderly now the way you want to be treated. Your children will be influenced to treat you as they see you treat your parents and other older people.

Crabtownboy, what is the difference between an aborted fetus and other medical garbage ? A spirit-filled believer should be able to answer this.

And it's BACK on topic, as well.
