I don't have to do that. You do. One is saved by faith and faith alone. One is not saved by emotions. If he is prove it.You have not attempted to explain scripture of God speaking of the heart and mind in the same scripture.
Why don't you believe the simple verse:
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved."
Or the Eunuch's testimony of salvation:
Acts 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
You don't get off the hook that easily. Stop your slander. If you don't 'fess up you will be docked for slander. Here it is again:Anyone who teaches you faith alone and nothing else.
So I ask again.
What do I blindly teach?
Who is that someone else that has blindly been taught, and presumably passed that knowledge to me. Where are your sources? How do you know this. You better have some good sources as you keep on slandering me and others on this board.
Please give a well-informed answer. I want names and sources.
Don't be ignorant. You said that Paul was never in Rome! LOL!
You used Romans 1:8 in your defense of the church of Rome being started by the apostles or at least an apostle.
Here are the facts.
Paul wrote his epistle to the Romans in 56 A.D.
He wrote that letter from Corinth.
He then returned to Jerusalem, where he appealed to Caesar.
He went to Caesar as a prisoner. The Jews in Rome had heard nothing of the false accusations against him, but the Romans kept him in his own hired house, guarded by Roman guards for two years. That was in 66 A.D., 10 years after he wrote his epistle.
He soon had his first trial.
He records this in 2 Timothy.
2 Timothy 4:16 At my first defense, no one came to help me, but all left me. May it not be held against them. (WEB)
--He stood alone before the Roman government with no one there to assist him or even encourage him.
--He was let go for a period of time.
--He was then tried a second time, found guilty and martyred (beheaded).
He knew this would happen, and tells Timothy that he was ready.
2 Timothy 4:6 For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure has come.
--This was his last letter written shortly before his martyrdom written in 67 A.D. from Rome.
Romans 1:8, the verse you used, was written more than ten years earlier before any apostle had ever been in Rome. The church had already been established, but not by an apostle.
Do you now understand?
