There was a earthquake today in South or Middle America also. There has been many earthquakes as of late all over the world. Its obvious from these birth pangs that the Lord will be returning soon. I am not sure when, but I hope soon! After I saw the news I headed to my prophecy books and my heart beat faster and I could just feel the anxiety on me! I however have been calmed by the Spirit, but the birth pangs are as clear as day all around us. I pray for those in LA and around the gulf to evacuate and get out before its too late.

Bingo - it might happen tonight!

Or it could be 2512 before it happens.

Could be - easily. All I really know for certain is that Jesus is coming back someday and I believe it could be any moment.

If laughter is great medicine then futurism should be a cure-all!

    LOL x 2,

I think it is time for another Don't be a victim of futurism post.

    LOL

I'm mad because here in SE Missouri it hasn't rained a thimble full in over 4 months and we have my father's auction set for outside this Saturday when they are forecasting a full day of rain. GO FIGURE--it is the end...:BangHead:

More jumping at shadows. Come on folks, this isn't what we're about. Endless/mindless speculations about the end of the world don't do us any good. Grab your boots, get a vision, and go reach people with the Gospel. Jesus didn't leave us this thing so we'd stare at the sky and be useless for His Kingdom.

Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

Why cant we do both? Yesterday I went out and passed out a dozen tracts. Today I watched the news, and read some prophecy books. One can be a dispensationalist and a evangelist.

One can also be a dispensationalist without guessing how news stories apply to prophecy.

Issac has a top speed of 70 mph. I was near the eye of Camille in 1969 in GUlfport with 200 mph winds. We are all still here today.

    The stories only confirm prophecy.

Yes! Jesus Christ told His Church: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. [John 16:33]

And He also told us: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. [John 14:27]

Jesus Christ is not going to snatch His Church out of the world but I suspect that many, if not all of us, will be snatched out before He returns.

I would certainly hope the rapture occurs in the next 10 years.

Put simply, between the ascension of Christ and his return, we have been drawing nearer to the end.
