Where did Ellen White Get her Revelations from?

There were four other major earthquakes in that area in the three years preceding her idiotic prediction.

Another earthquake happened four year later.
!

Oddly enough your little list of 4 earthquakes -- and all since that time - do not measure up to the 1906 event predicted in 1902.

Hint: This quote below is stating a fact of history - sadly enough for your story.

The San Francisco earthquake of 1906 was a major earthquake that struck San Francisco and the coast of Northern California at 5:12 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 1906.[3] Devastating fires broke out in the city and lasted for several days. As a result of the quake and fires, about 3,000 people died[4] and over 80% of San Francisco was destroyed.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1906_Sa...sco_earthquake

The earthquake and resulting fire are remembered as one of the worst natural disasters in the history of the United States[5] alongside the Galveston Hurricane of 1900 and Hurricane Katrina in 2005.[6] The death toll from the earthquake and resulting fire is the greatest loss of life from a natural disaster in California's history.

That historic fact does not vanish simply because you find the details "inconvenient" - as anyone can see by now.

Your response is desperate to not let the facts get in the way of your little story.

And I am not trying to stop you from choosing that solution.

Ellen White is a false prophet.

There have been Sabbathkeepers aall the time before her.

.

Ellen White did not introduce the Sabbath doctrine of the Bible to Adventists. The Seventh-day Baptist Rachael Oaks comes about as close to that role as it gets. Joseph Bates talked with James and Ellen White about the doctrine and they were at first not as enthusiastic in support of it as was Bates and some others. But eventually they came around on that Bible point.

Are you saying that Christians were in error concerning the Sabbath asbinding on them until Ellen White got that"revelation" from God?

What would lead you to think such a thing???

Ellen White claimed that God revelaed to her that the 'true remnant" would celebrate and keep the Sabbath, and that one day all Christians would have to keep the Sabbath, or else receive mark of the beast and be damned!

NONE of the real Apostles/prophets claimed that, so she fits bill as a false one, adding to the Word!

There is no Bible text in all of scripture that says that the NT prophets were never to speak of any event in the future that was not already fully explained in the OT.

Making stuff up is not a valid substitute for a Bible text - as we all know.

Ellen White predicted that in the future - just before the end of the world the - mark of the beast mentioned in Rev 13 and 14 would be setup and that it would deal with the issue of "worship" as stated in Rev 14:7 - true worship in Rev 14:7 vs false worship in Rev 14:8 and 9.

She said that it would be centered on the same issue regarding God as the "one who made the heavens and the earth and the springs of water" that we see in Rev 14:7 and in Ex 20:11 in the 4th commandment.

She predicted that in that future time the saints would be distinguished as those who "KEEP the Commandments of God AND their faith in Jesus" Rev 14:12.

If in fact there is no "Signs and wonders" event as predicted by Rev 13 - that sets up the mark of the beast in opposition to the TEN Commandments [-- specifically in opposition to God's 4th commandment - just before the end of the world - then she will have been proven wrong.

Time will tell.

God already had spoken to us thru the prophets of the OT/Apostles in the NT of what was to come, NO MORE additional revealtion from him about that was ever forthcoming!

John aleady told us the mark of the beast will be the lost ones accepted the Antichrist as being the messiah, as God on earth to be worshipped, NOT he sabbath day keeping!

NO real christian will accept that mark, as God already sealed and marked them by the HS!

Your sovereign command to God - stating that He must give no more revelation - was apparently lacking the authority you imagined it to have.

Better to stick with the actual Bible.

Eph 4:11-14.

1Cor 14:1

Rev 14:17
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Is 30:8-11

Better to stick with the actual Bible rather than making stuff up about what God is no longer allowed to do.

The Holy spirit Himself said to us no more additions/subtractions from the bible were to come, so you make Him out as a Liar!

The texts you responding to say nothing about "adding" or "subtracting" from the Bible.

Your lack of Bible study when the texts are presented is not helping your argument as much as you may have at first imagined.

The texts above are pretty clear - as it turns out.
