There is Google, not hard to find what he has said. You want to like Driscoll that is fine, your business. But if you're going to like him you owe it to yourself to know ALL about him.

I've listened to a lot of his messages so I'd say I'm pretty well versed on what he has to say. But I still haven't found anything sexist in what he's had to say that I could remember.

Why is it so unclear to you when it is glaringly obvious to others?

I have a question and thought it inappropriate (or at least from my perspective, not worth it) to start a new thread. How did the conference go? I started mid stream and the pastor I watched offered absolutely no biblical support but instead had Calvin’s commentary on the screen. So I got bored early on and chose to watch Eureka on Netflix instead. Did they ever get to actual biblical support for their position and was it worth watching?

Secondly (and for the Eureka fans) - does the timeline ever get fixed???? This is driving me nuts....they have to get back on the right timeline...right?????...

Of course he focused on Calvin for that segment. that was his particular assignment. He was supposed to show Calvin's biblical argument for cessationism.

The point was that no reformed person could claim that Calvin was for continuationism.

It would be like a guy doing a segment on Purpose Driven Church with Rick Warren quotes on the screen. Of COURSE you're going to quote him when that is what the segment is devoted to.

Most of the rest of the conference was devoted to biblical arguments against it.

You should have watched it.

I figured I just tuned in at the wrong time. I'll have to see when DVD's come out.
