I'm not blaming you. I'm just asking you a question.

I'm more than confident in the ability of the Word of God to stand on its own merits.
The commandments of Jesus Christ are the words of God.
They are the words of eternal life.

I will answer any question you ask me. Now I may not take the shortest way but I will get you there.

And it may not be the answer you want to hear. But it will be from the heart.

You have not quoted the "commandments of Jesus Christ" nor "the words of God," nor "the words of eternal life," but simply your own words and your own opinion. Look through this thread. Where are there any references to the Bible? I asked you for one; you didn't give any. Without any Biblical references (or references to Scripture) you have only posted opinion.

Does obeying them count for anything? If so...then count me in!

Obeying "your" words counts for zilch, nada.
When are you going to refer to the actual Word of God?

I love to obey these words of Jesus Christ.

John, Chapter 6, 53: Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Let's talk about those words.
Why do you think they mean obedience?
And if so, what kind of obedience?

I do not think they mean obedience. They are eternal life. You must obey them to have eternal life.
John, Chapter 6, 53: Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

You have to be more specific. How do you obey this verse?

I am not going to teach you that.

Now you admit that you can't and won't teach the meaning of this verse, thus ceding that you don't obey the Lord. But you claim to keep his commands. I call that hypocrisy. Why do you say you can do things that you obviously cannot do?

Because I believe that all things are possible to those who can believe.
Good for you. Then explain yourself.

I love to obey these words of Jesus Christ.

This is the truth....

All Christians are under the commandments of Jesus Christ!

To be RIGHT with God...

you have to obey all the commandments of Jesus Christ!

And of course - Jesus Christ is not at war with the God of the Bible.

Jesus is not at war with the Word of God.

Jesus IS THE GOD of the BIBLE!

It is CHRIST that thunders HIS Law from Sinai.

Jesus IS the WORD

He could say "IF you have seen ME you have seen the Father". John 14.

"In Him dwells all the FULLNESS of the Godhead in bodily form" Col 2

There is no war, no division, no upstaging.

Jesus said "The Father and I are ONE".

He never presented Himself has deleting/replacing/ignoring/abolishing the Word of the Father.

in Christ,

Bob
