BTW, in case someone wants to assert that Catholic's are allowed on this board, and that I am proof of that, let's make this clear. The criteria for a Catholic to belong to this board is that they MUST have been a non-Catholic when they joined the board and that they became Catholic while belonging. There are three of us left on this board. Melanie seldom post in the Catholic bashing threads because she values her membership here and has watched as others who try to defend the Faith are banned. The people who converted back when the Baptist Board allowed Catholics to join were also banned in 'The Great Catholic Purge' years back. If the Baptist Board wanted to be fair it would allow Catholics to join and defend themselves. Instead, thread after thread of anti-Catholic garbage is started asking for Catholics 'what do you think?' This thread is a perfect example! What typically happens is this-a thread is started about a particular Catholic position or doctrine, as soon a one of the couple of Catholic posters responds then a barrage of 'well, how do you defend asking Mary to pray, holy water, purgatory, immaculate conception, Mary, papal infallibility, the Eucharist, the Virgin Mary, asking for saints to pray for you, confession and did I mention the Blessed Virgin Mary? It is a bit of job for three board members don'tcha think? Instead, y'all can sit back and say 'see, they got nuttin'!' Open up the BB to Catholics and see what happens!
