I hope this survey meets with the approval of people like CTB and ITL, but if not I apologize, and ask that the remainder of you considers the possibility of Ebola becoming something you have to be uneasy with, so how concerned are you with Ebola regarding you, and your family???

Paul, it could get real ugly. We will all find out in a few weeks. If we make it to Thanksgiving w/o many infected I think we'll make it. What is scary is if it comes to Mexico or South & Central America I hear we are doomed. The border will be flooded will infected people seeking care. If it gets bad we will see the medical industry ruined and then our economy will fail and I think there is something concerning seven seals and four horsemen.....

We all need to be bold witnesses to our lost friends and neighbors.:love2:

I thoroughly agree with your observations and interpretation of the scripture. This is exactly what I am thinking. Most of us believe that America does not appear to be mentioned in the prophecy about the end of times. And who knows, with a terror attack on our soil and a major health incident, we could see all you mentioned above manifest itself before our eyes.

All we can do is pray! As always, my dear brother, may peace and unconditional favor be yours to have and hold!

One of the big factors that could add to this is the flu season is about to bust wide open. When that happens it could overwhelm the whole system with false positives and even shut the nation down leading to all kinds of problems.

Combining that with an out to lunch President, and incompetent CDC, Russia that is on a power grab, terrorists who want us dead, and a media that is shacked up with the current administration things could easily go south quickly.

It has already gone south...and on top of this there is a slew of illegals fleeing freely to the north. We are in big trouble in fact if I were a terrorist, this would be a great time to attack America...our security is all caught up on scanning for Ebola.

To expect TSA to do double duty is asking tooooooo much from these folks. After all they are human, and humans make errors. You ha ve made a good argument and those on the board who disagree have their heads in the sand too!

The borders are wide open, West Africans are travelling to the USA at will (including the Indianapolis airport), and the military is being sent on a fool's errand to Liberia with little hope of doing anything other than getting ebola.

My job brings me into contact with Africans now and then. So, yes, I am worried. We need to stop all flights from West Africa until this disease is under control.

Personally, I'm not real concerned with the disease.

What really concerns me is the massive overwhelming incompetence of the Obama administration in dealing with it.

That kind of incompetence is a sickness that could kill us all...one way or the other.

There are many problems in this country that would normally be of little concern at this point, but when considering the total ineptness of any government response to any of them, I am very concerned!!!

Bengazi, IRS, Immigration, Economy, Extreme bias of gov in it's "governing", Disregard of overstepping it's limits, ETC, ETC, ETC, ET AL!!!

I'm sure any of you can add to the list ----!

But of course we are in good hands now that we have a new CZAR! (This last statement IS sarcasm for those of you that think too literaly:smilewinkgrin:)

It came from all those Central American illegal children. Lots of them were sick upon arrival, and in the past, immigration would have sent sick folks back to their country of origin. However, that was when we had enforcement of borders and our laws.

Now they brought these illegal children in, last count nearly 70,000 [this year], then sent them to relatives [yeah sure .... who believes these kids had relatives?] all over the nation.

Shortly after moving thousands of kids into the Colorado area, Enterovirus broke out, and it continued to break out from the mid-West to the coasts, the same pattern immigration and DHS used when shipping these ids out!

Is it a coincidence. I HIGHLY DOUBT IT. Would CDC, NIH and the Administration report this? Again, HIGHLY UNLIKELY.

I can't prove this is why enterovirus 68 broke out, but, I an not the only person thinking along these lines. Even so, I guarantee you that liberal, far and wide, and her on the board, would argue I am starting a conspiracy type theory!

So, it is merely a theory without facts, I am GUILTY! Nevertheless, this Enterovirus 68 didn't just start up on its own, and all the medical folks are calling this a strange and even rare virus.

BTW - this particular strain of virus is closely related to polio. A disease we nearly rid ourselves of since the 60s. Here is an interesting link to read. And though CDC and Obama are not going to pass the buck to illegal immigrants, especially children coming here this past year, it is highly likely that this strain is a result of the influx of illegal children plus the liberal move to stop vaccinating children for diseases, such as polio!

“At first sign of crisis, the ignorant don’t panic because they don’t know what’s going on, and then later they panic precisely because they don’t know what’s going on.

    ― Jarod Kintz

Panic causes tunnel vision. Calm acceptance of danger allows us to more easily assess the situation and see the options.

You are correct. I don't see a lot of panic either but we still have a lot of doom and gloom posts about how it is being handled yet all we have to show for that is the death of one guy who had the virus already and a nurse who has been stabilized. I'm not seeing the epidemic that has resulted from the supposedly inept CDC.

There may never be but the ineptness is still there and it has been proven.
