As many as are in Congress and identified as white male conservative. Why do you seem concerned about maintaining the white male conservative caucus but not so much so with the others?

The same way that rev figured that the Black Congressional Congress is racist.

Yep. If we are to use rev's assertion that the BCC is racist, then one must assume that the WCC is also unless white privilege again thinks it can release the WCC from the poker that branded the BCC racist.

Facts are what we think the facts are. Just because you think something is factual, doesn't make it the truth.

Your buddy rev branded the BCC racist. So like I said, we might as well brand the WCC racist too.

And y'all do very little debate in this forum anyhow. Generally yall give the political conservative talking points and proceed to try to denigrate and make feel stupid anyone who doesn't agree with ya.

I wish I had been around for the start of this thread...for reasons...

Question: Who is more deserving of a spot in the Congressional Black Caucus?
    A. A black representative from a majority white district, or
    B. A white representative from a majority black district

According to the CBC, the answer to that question is, without a doubt, A. Tennessee Democrat Steve Cohen won the election for his district in 2006. His district is over 60% black, while Cohen is white. He requested membership in the Caucus and Missouri Democrat William Lacy told Cohen he could not join because he was white. It did not matter to them that Cohen represented a "majority minority" district. It mattered to them that Cohen was not black.

Yet, a politician who was a member of a white only public group has been chastised in the past.

    Here is one example

In the 1980s the Congressional Black Caucus actually did extend membership to South Carolina Rep. Robert Tallon (D). Rep. Tallon promptly mistook CDC co-founder Rep. Augustus Hawkins as being 'not black' either!

SAG Nominees: Imitation, Boyhood, Birdman, Theory, Budapest Hotel– Snubs All Black Movie Actors

SAG Awards nominees for Best Cast/Ensemble often indicate nominees for the Oscar Best Picture. This year they are The Imitation Game, Boyhood, Birdman, Theory of Everything, and the Grand Budapest Hotel. Biggest snub was “Selma,” which didn’t start screening until late, and “Into the Woods,” which SAG audiences loved. They will each be Best Picture nominees anyway.

Some surprises among the actresses. Naomi Watts in St Vincent is very nice. Jennifer Aniston for Cake–I didn’t think it was possible, but good for her. Nothing for Emily Blunt or anyone else in Into the Woods except Meryl Streep. Rosamund Pike in Gone Girl also a stretch.

And no Gugu Mbatha Raw or David Oyelowo.

Indeed, it’s an all white SAG this year in the movie categories. Black actors only rated on TV. Selma” has a 100% on RottenTomatoes.
