Should America do more to assist Europe with refugee/migrants?

If Obamamation , and I'm sure he'll cave to the pressure, decides to help Europe by doing "its fair share" of housing the refugees/migrants, would you agree with the decision?

The way I see it .... Europe has no more right insisting that we assist them by taking these illegal migrants any more than the US should expect Europe to take the millions of Latinos flooding our borders.

What say you?

What is happening over there is horrible and I do think that we should do more to assist but I don't think that includes bringing them to the US. I think sending money and other aid would be the right thing to do but these people are already so displaced and to send them overseas, SO far from their home might be even more traumatic for them.

Do more? We're taking in more refugees than any other nation now.

O's inability to keep our military in Iraq exacerbated the Syrian problem.
I have no confidence in his ability to help.
His administrative abilities are poor; his help would probably make things worse.

New evidence has been uncovered by journalists covering the European refugee crisis indicating that some are hiding their nationalities and are claiming to be Syrian to increase their chances at asylum.

A reporter for the Associated Press found identity cards from an array of nations dumped along the Serbia-Hungary border. Those included Pakistani and Bangladeshi identity cards and an Iraqi driver’s license.

A border police officer told the AP that there’s even more reason to suspect some nationality claims are “fishy.”

“You can see that something is fishy when most of those who cross into Serbia enter January first as the date of their birth,” border police officer Miroslav Jovic told the AP. “Guess that’s the first date that comes to their mind.”

Oh how I wish we could just vote this November and have the new President start in Jan. 2016!

The O is already on permanent vacation anyway. Michelle and Mr. o hate being cramped up in the White House. Here's a chance for an early release.

Last week Europe saw one of its worst crises in decades. Tens of thousands of migrants entered the European Union via Hungary, demanding passage to their hoped-for final destination, Germany.

While the media focuses on the human tragedy of so many people uprooted and traveling in dangerous circumstances, there is very little attention given to the events that led them to leave their countries. Certainly we all feel for the displaced people, especially the children, but let’s not forget that this is a man-made crisis and it is a government-made crisis.

We have no clue what its like to run for our lives.

These refugees do, because they are doing just that. Personally, I deeply resounded with the Pope's admonition for every Catholic parish in Europe to host one family. That is an amazing thing if it happens.

We've done what we can to aid the refugees to this point but our resources are limited and directed in other ways. This is a significant humanitarian crisis. The Church can, and should, respond with open arms.

The church should be all over the war mongers in Washington DC for creating this crisis by destabilizing Syria and destroying Libya.

Matthew 25:37-40 NIV
[37] “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? [38] When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? [39] When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' [40] 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me .’ …

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Matthew 7:15-16

What we're seeing here are the fruits of the false prophets known today as "neocons".

I disagree.

Neocons are the prophets of fear mongering for regime change. The fruits of their regime change policy can't get much more obvious.

Millions dead, millions displaced, terror, chaos and destabilization follows them where ever they go. They preach human rights and democracy while supporting and protecting the very people doing all the destabilizing, killing and displacing. I think Matthew 7:15-16 fits them to a tee.

Their fruits are lies, death and destruction.

"neocons" cannot be a false prophet in the church.

Really? Then why do the majority in the church believe their prophesies, without question?

Do they come into the church, hold a teaching or preaching position in the church, and then falsely represent God and His word?

Or are these politicians outside the church that church members happen to believe?

If it is the latter then you have misused scripture out of context. If it is the former you have not made that case as of yet.
