I'm just curious Hank (since you told me you are half Jewish)....How did you feel when Trump did not make any reference to the Jewish race during Holocaust Day and the 2nd part of the question....would you have thought it better had he referenced all people that were victimized by name....IE Poles, RC Priests, Gypsies, the Mentally ill, Homosexuals, Political Prisoners, Jews etc......Maybe he could have even mentioned Dietrich Bonhoeffer.....what are your thoughts

That certainly is a poor argument. In 1933 there was no evidnce that Hitler had killed any Jews nor was there any evidence he would manage to kill 6 million Jews as well as 6 million others, i.e. gypsies, mentally retarded, etc., etc.
You are of course, referring to the thread about Trump engineering applause at his meeting with intelligence agencies. The thread about the definition of the word "claque" where I stated that Goebbels made claques popular during the rise of the third reich. Perfectly fine example. Hitler was not mentioned in my posts.
It was well known that Hitler wanted to eradicate Jews. When Hitler gained power (BTW 84 years ago Monday) Jews were immediately discriminated against. Many were sent to concentration camps and their assets seized. As Hitler began to take more and more control over the populace, Jews lost more and more rights. During the 1936 Olympics the Nazi's removed signs from buildings, storefronts, etc. that segregated Jews from the rest of society.
Hitler was known for killing Jews, yes, but that's hardly the only offensive thing he did!

Yeah, so? Trump was accused of using a claque. Goebbels DID use claques, frequently, and with many participants. There's nothing wrong with saying, "Goebbels made use of claques in the rise of the Third Reich" in a thread about Trump using claques.

In 1924 Hitler wrote his infamous Mein Kampf.
I obtained a translation while in college to use for a paper concerning WWII and he plainly declared that the Jewish problem could/should be solved by their annihilation.
Throughout the book he constantly degrades the Jewish race.
I have never seen a book or a speech or a document of such Jewish hatred by Trump.

It's really comical to watch you try to squirm your way out of making the Hitler connection. It is what it is and you did it intentionally. You could have used a dozen examples, yet you chose Hitler.
Your dishonesty about it only makes it more tragic.
My dishonesty? I reminded you of the thread. I named the Goebbels connection. I compared Goebbels use of claques to Trump's use of claques. I'm being pretty transparent here. I'm not denying anything except that I didn't use Hitler's name.
Why don't you admit that sometimes it is appropriate to recall Hitler or Nazi's when the comparison fits. You can't just say, "Ha ha, you used Hitler, your argument fails."
I didn't need your reminder. I know what you did. You were dishonest about it then, just as you are now.
