What if they were actually murderers under a vow of al taqiyya with counterfeit papers and they were thwarted of their murderous plans?

What if you send some one to the store and they get hit by a drunk driver?

Fact....they were already vetted with Green Cards/ they got caught up in the mess program staged by Trump & Company.

Sorry Hank but these are apples & orange situations. In Syria & Iraq anyway, these people are real life people running for their lives (Refugees), some are Educated professionals, people who were interpreters who fought together with our Armed Forces, some are Christians who are getting killed for their Faith.....all probably have targets on their backs. Yes they should be scrutinized & vetted ..... but they have already gone through that process, received their Green Cards, been placed in various places throughout the country with housing, jobs etc.....and so they sold everything they own, waited in Queue for years, given up their jobs & said goodby to their families. So why should they be punished by an misconceived & flawed program (that are not well thought out)?

Maybe America has grown too comfortable & doesn't get it anymore....but I remember sitting at the kitchen table listening to the stories of now long dead relatives & friends who were refugees ....how they were chased WITH DOGS. How they were made to dig their own mass graves and dropped like rocks when shot & how about being starved to death by warring nations who thought that the best way to exterminate them was to deny them food. Hank these were white Christians being hunted, tortured & ultimately killed by other white Christians.

Re the Godwin's Law thing. I think that Trump has a long way to go before he can legitimately be personally compared to Hitler. I do think, though, that there have been similarities between this election cycle until now and that of early-1930s Germany (discontent/division of the people, strong leader emerges, people's adoration, intolerance of dissent, etc.). The rise of Steve Bannon also reminds me a bit of the rise of Joseph Goebbels.

Why don't you admit that sometimes it is appropriate to recall Hitler or Nazi's when the comparison fits. You can't just say, "Ha ha, you used Hitler, your argument fails."

Admittedly Trump has a large ego (although maybe not as colossal as his predecessor).

Google "The Enabling Act of 1933".

Basically the German Reichstag (legislature) voted to give Hitler the powers of the legislature, meaning he could decree laws without any oversight. He could even create laws that were contrary to the German constitution. Every member of one of the minority parties, the Social Democrats opposed it, to no avail. Essentially, the Reichstag voted themselves out of existence.

Shortly after the Enabling Act was passed Hitler used his new powers and banned all political parties except the Nazi party.
