Well, then, if that's the criteria, since you didn't vote in any other state's US Senate or US House races besides Texas, you have no real business commenting on Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, Elizabeth Warren, Chuck Schumer, etc.

What I see is criticism of Obama is claimed to be rooted in racism, criticism of Trump is thought to be rooted in hate. Both words are trite at this point.

He didn't have the opportunity to vote for against all of them, I hope. But you and the rest of us here did have the chance to vote for or against Trump.

But you do bring up a good point, the idea that senators, and to a lesser extent, congress members, are state representatives, not on a national level ideally. They should put their state's own interests first but the undesirable byproduct of this is pork.
