The revealed knowledge IS; Jesus IS the Father.
The spiritual understanding IS; Jesus IS the Father.
The spiritual understanding IS, to keep remembrance of what is revealed, trust it, believe it, and keep patience for when it is reveal to OUR SIGHT.

Jesus was introduced, and called by What God dictated to call Him.
Jesus was revealed; He IS the Word of God.
Jesus was revealed; He IS the Christ.
Jesus was revealed; Men who SAW Him, SAW the Father.

Who IS the Father; but He WHO IS the Word, Power, Wisdom of God Himself?
Who HAS the Power to forgive Sin, but He WHO is the Power and God Himself?

We Remember WHAT God has done for us; The manner in which He does it, and the Name God declares us to Remember, while also trusting what additional knowledge God reveals to us.

    John.15
[20] Remember the word that I said unto you,

    Luke.1
    1. [35] And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
    Matt 1

[21] And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

    Matt 1

[16] And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

    Matt.1

    1. [23] Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

    Eph.1
    1. [9] Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
    John.14
    1. [8] Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
    2. [9] Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
    1 Cor 1

[24]....Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

    1John.3
    1. [2] Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

So you do deny that there are 3 separte Persons called God, but One God who took on 3 different names?

The term "person" is irrelevant. God IS Spirit.

I DO NOT DENY there are numerous qualities and identities specific to God.

I DO DENY God IS "separate" from Himself.

Jesus reveals in this verse that He is indeed the Father!

    John 14:9King James Version (KJV)
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

So when the Lord Jesus prayed that long prayer recorded in John 17, to whom was He praying?

Others here have dealt with this question more deeply than I will. But, here is my take on this matter. I was first confronted with this question by the leadership of a Christian servicemen's club across from Great Lakes Naval Traning Station. They gave me the left boot of dis-fellowship because I held to the "heresy" of eternal security. Walking back to my barracks, I got to thinking. Based on Ephesians 2:8-9, I came to the conclusion, if I didn't work for my salvation, how could I do anything to lose it. On further thought, I came up with the following:
    • Salvation has many components which are irreversible among them are:
      • Redemption
        • I was bought by the Blood of Christ 1 Peter 1:18-19
        • The Bible says nothing about a Return Counter where God can return me because I didn't meet His expectations.
      • Adoption
        • I have read anyplace where God disowns his adopted children
    • God is omniscient
      • Connected with Redemption, He knew all the flaws in what He was buying.

To me, this all lays on Jesus Himself, for he stated that He will keep saved ALL whom he saves, so either that is the truth, or he lied!

That's called the trinity, you won't find the word "trinity" in scripture, it's just the name we've given it! We know there is only one God from scripture Deuteronomy 6:4, 1 Corinthians 8:4, Galatians 3:20, 1 Timothy 2:5! We know Jesus is God manifested in the flesh 1 Timothy 3:16 We know the Holy Spirit is God John 14:16, 26, 15:26. I know it's a difficult concept to accept or understand because we're human with limited understanding of the the things of God! Isaiah 55:8-9
